Titans-Vikings Week 11 Postgame Notes

TEAM NOTES

  • Three players made their Titans debut: linebacker Jerome Baker, tackle Isaiah Prince and guard Logan Bruss.
  • The Titans and Vikings were even with each team committing one turnover. It was the Titans' third consecutive week finishing either even or ahead in the turnover battle.
  • Nine different players caught a pass on offense for the Titans, tying the team's season high (nine players on Sept. 22 vs. Green Bay and Oct. 20 at Buffalo).
  • For the second time in 2024, the Titans defense recorded a takeaway on the opposing team's first drive. Against the Vikings, Jeffery Simmons recovered a fumble for the Titans. Earlier in the season, the Titans recovered a fumble at Miami (Sept. 30) on the Dolphins' first possession.
  • The Titans defense limited the Vikings to 82 rushing yards, which tied for the second-lowest total by the Vikings offense in 2024. It was also the third-lowest total allowed by the Titans defense in 2024.

CB DARRELL BAKER JR.

  • Totaled four tackles.
  • Led the team and tied his career high with two passes defensed.

LB JEROME BAKER

  • Made his first appearance in a Titans uniform and recorded his 100th career regular season game.
  • Posted eight tackles.

WR TYLER BOYD

  • Caught two passes for 34 total yards.
  • Picked up 30 yards on a reception in the fourth quarter. It was his longest catch of the season through 10 games.

G LOGAN BRUSS

  • Made his Titans debut.

K NICK FOLK

  • Made both of his field goal attempts and made his only extra point attempt.
  • Booted a 30-yard field goal in the first quarter and a 43-yarder in the fourth quarter.
  • Increased his all-time NFL-record streak to 84 consecutive field goals made on attempts from less than 40 yards.
  • With 396 career field goals, he needs two more to surpass Matt Bryant (397) for 15th place in NFL history.

OLB ALI GAYE

  • Posted two tackles, including his first career tackle for loss.

LB JACK GIBBENS

  • Logged his 20th career start.
  • Left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury.

WR JHA'QUAN JACKSON

  • Totaled 26 yards on a pair of punt returns.
  • Returned a punt 20 yards in the fourth quarter. It was his longest punt return through 10 NFL games.

OLB ARDEN KEY

  • Totaled five tackles, one sack and two tackles for loss.
  • Helped thwart a Vikings drive in the fourth quarter with a nine-yard sack of Sam Darnold on third down. He tallied his fifth sack of the season and the 25th sack of his career.
  • Recorded his fifth sack in a five-game span.

OLB HAROLD LANDRY III

  • Finished third on the team with six tackles.

T JC LATHAM

  • Started for the 10th consecutive game, becoming the franchise's seventh rookie offensive lineman since 1980 to log starts in each of the team's first 10 contests, joining Harvey Salem (1983), Dean Steinkuhler (1984), Michael Roos (2005), Chance Warmack (2013), Jack Conklin (2016) and Nicholas Petit-Frere (2022). Latham became the franchise's only rookie in the past 45 seasons to start the first 10 games of a season at left tackle. He went into the week as one of only five NFL rookie offensive linemen to register a start in every game for their team, along with New Orleans Saints left tackle Taliese Fuaga, Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Graham Barton, Dallas Cowboys center Cooper Beebe and San Francisco 49ers right guard Dominick Puni.

QB WILL LEVIS

  • Completed 17 of 31 passes for 295 yards with one touchdown and one interception (84.7 passer rating) in his 16th career start.
  • Set a career high with an average of 9.52 yards per pass attempt.
  • Tied his career high with three completions of at least 25 yards.
  • His 17.4 yards per completion set a career high and tied for the fourth-highest average in the NFL in 2024 in a game in which a quarterback attempted at least 20 passes (through the early afternoon games of Nov. 17).
  • Tied his career high with seven rushing attempts for a total of 18 yards.
  • Completed a career-long 98-yard touchdown pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the third quarter. It tied for the longest pass in franchise history, matching Jacky Lee's 98-yard touchdown pass to Willard Dewveall against San Diego on Nov. 25, 1962. It also tied Lee's pass to Dewveall for the second-longest play from scrimmage in franchise history behind Derrick Henry's 99-yard touchdown run against Jacksonville on Dec. 6, 2018.
  • His 98-yard touchdown pass was the longest in the NFL in 2024 and the league's longest pass since Buffalo's Josh Allen completed a 98-yard touchdown pass to Gabe Davis against Pittsburgh on Oct. 9, 2022.
  • His 98-yard touchdown pass was the 25th pass in NFL history of either 98 yards (12 times) or 99 yards (13).
  • His eighth touchdown pass of the season matched his total from his 2023 rookie season.
  • Helped convert a third-and-nine with a 21-yard pass to Calvin Ridley in the first quarter.
  • Helped convert a third-and-11 with a 33-yard connection with Bryce Oliver on the final play of the third quarter.

CB ROGER McCREARY

  • Posted four tackles, including a tackle for loss.
  • Increased his season total to nine tackles for loss, which led all NFL defensive backs through the early afternoon games of Nov. 17.

LB KENNETH MURRAY JR.

  • Paced the defense with 10 tackles, including a sack.
  • Helped end a Vikings drive in the third quarter with a one-yard sack of Sam Darnold on third down. It was his third sack of the season and the eighth sack of his career.
  • With his third sack of 2024, he tied the career high he set in 2023 as a member of the Los Angeles Chargers.

TE CHIG OKONKWO

  • Totaled 19 yards on a pair of receptions.

WR BRYCE OLIVER

  • Converted a third-and-11 with a 33-yard catch on the final play of the third quarter.

RB TONY POLLARD

  • Rushed nine times for 15 yards and added 14 yards on a pair of receptions.

T ISAIAH PRINCE

  • Played right tackle in his Titans debut.

WR CALVIN RIDLEY

  • Produced a team-high four receptions for 58 yards.
  • Went over 500 yards in a season (541) for the fifth time in his career.
  • Converted a third-and-nine with a 21-yard grab in the first quarter.
  • Tallied his fifth consecutive game with a catch of at least 20 yards, matching his career-best streak (2018 and 2023).

DT JEFFERY SIMMONS

  • Produced four tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
  • Recovered a Vikings fumble in the second quarter, which led to a Titans field goal on the ensuing possession. It was his second fumble recovery of 2024 and the sixth fumble recovery of his career.
  • Credited with a forced fumble against running back Aaron Jones Sr. in the third quarter, but the ball was recovered by the Vikings. It was his fifth career forced fumble and his second forced fumble of 2024, which set a career high.

P RYAN STONEHOUSE

  • Averaged 48.2 yards (40.8 net) on five punts with one punt placed inside the 20.
  • Recorded a 62-yard punt in the second quarter.
  • Registered his 17th consecutive game with at least one punt of 55-plus yards. It is the NFL's longest such active streak, which is also the longest streak of his career.

DT T'VONDRE SWEAT

  • Generated five tackles, including a tackle for loss.

WR NICK WESTBROOK-IKHINE

  • Led the offense with 117 yards on two receptions, including a touchdown. His yardage total ranked second in his career.
  • Caught a 98-yard touchdown pass from Will Levis in the third quarter. It tied for the longest reception in franchise history, matching Willard Dewveall's 98-yard touchdown reception on a pass from Jacky Lee against San Diego on Nov. 25, 1962. It tied Dewveall's catch for the second-longest play from scrimmage in franchise history behind Derrick Henry's 99-yard touchdown run against Jacksonville on Dec. 6, 2018.
  • His 98-yard reception was the longest in the NFL in 2024 and the league's longest reception since Gabe Davis' 98-yard touchdown reception for Buffalo against Pittsburgh on Oct. 9, 2022.
  • His 98-yard touchdown reception was the 25th reception in NFL history of either 98 yards (12 times) or 99 yards (13).
