NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-Titans receiver Calvin Ridley is ready to face his old team, the Jaguars.
"I am excited to play them," Ridley said. "Old teammates, I know some faces. Yeah, I'm excited to play them. I am excited for this week, the Jags come in here."
Ridley has 43 catches for 679 yards and three touchdowns this season.
In 2023 with the Jaguars, Ridley caught 76 passes for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns.
Ridley said he's hoping the Titans can find some consistency down the stretch.
"We should try to win all these last games that we can," Ridley said. "And be better for ourselves, for the work we put in, for the organization, for Miss Amy, our family and friends."
-Titans Coach Brian Callahan on Wednesday officially ruled receiver Treylon Burks out for the season.
Burks, who went on Injured Reserve with a knee injury back on October 19, had surgery several weeks back.
"He went on IR with an ACL injury, initially," Callahan said. "It was a loose ACL that wasn't fully torn. So, he had to see some specialists, and he eventually had to have ACL surgery. So, he's out for the year, not coming back after that surgery."
-The Titans placed tackle Jaelyn Duncan on the team's 'Designated for Return' list on Wednesday, when he practiced for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in the team's October 20 game against the Bills.
The return to practice designation opened up a three-week window for Duncan to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
"I don't know that he'll be ready for the game this week," Callahan said of Duncan. "But we're getting him back to work."
Below is a look at Duncan, who was limited in today's practice:
-Titans cornerback Chidobe Awuzie practiced again on Wednesday, in full. Awuzie was placed on the team's 'Designated for Return' list last week. Awuzie was placed on Injured Reserve on September 27 with a groin injury.
