NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Cincinnati Bengals.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-The Titans head into the game relatively healthy, as coach Brian Callahan didn't rule anyone out heading into Sunday's game.
Linebacker Otis Reese appears to be the biggest question mark, as he was the only player who didn't practice at all on Friday. Reese suffered an ankle injury in Wednesday's practice. Reese will be a "gametime decision" on Sunday, Callahan said.
Reese is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.
The good news is linebacker Kenneth Murray returned to practice after missing last Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, so he could be ready to return to the starting lineup.
-Callahan said receiver Tyler Boyd and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, a pair of former Bengals, will serve as the extra gameday captains for the Titans on Sunday.
-Callahan said the team next week plans to open the practice window for receiver Colton Dowell, who has been on Injured Reserve all season after suffering a torn ACL at the end of the 2023 season.
-Callahan said it's 'iffy" on whether cornerback L'Jarius Sneed will play again this season. Sneed was placed on IR on November 23.
Now, for all the injury updates from Friday:
-Titans quarterback Will Levis (right shoulder) practiced for the third day in a row and he's good to go.
-Receiver Tyler Boyd (foot) practiced again and he's good to go.
-Kicker Nick Folk (groin) practiced again.
Callahan said Folk did well this week and "should be good to go."
-Linebacker Kenneth Murray (hamstring), as mentioned previously, practiced again and he's good to go.
-Running back Tony Pollard (ankle) was seen briefly before the team went to stretch period. He's listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.
Callahan said he's optimistic about Pollard chances of playing despite not practicing much all week.
-Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (NIR-Rest) practiced again and he's good to go.
-Nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat (shoulder) practiced again and he's good to go.
-Linebacker Jerome Baker (neck) practiced again and he's good to go.
-Linebacker Luke Gifford (calf) practiced again and he's good to go.
-Cornerback Roger McCreary (shoulder) practiced again. He's listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.
-Guard Peter Skoronski (ankle) practiced again and he's good to go.
-Left tackle JC Latham practiced again and he's good to go.
Latham talked to reporters about his rookie season after today's practice.
-The Titans placed tackle Jaelyn Duncan on the team's 'Designated for Return' list last week, when he practiced for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in the team's October 20 game against the Bills.
The return to practice designation opened up a three-week window for Duncan to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
Duncan practiced again Friday. Callahan said Duncan has a chance to rejoin the 53-man roster, but he didn't indicate whether it would be this week or next week. It's TBD, he said.
Duncan is listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.
-The Bengals released their final injury report of the week on Friday, and it looked like this:
Tackle Orlando Brown (fibula), linebacker Joe Bachie (groin), and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (illness) have been ruled OUT for Sunday's game. Receiver Charlie Jones (groin) is QUESTIONABLE.
The Titans will hold a walkthrough on Saturday, ahead of Sunday's game vs the Bengals.
