NASHVILLE – Well, we've made it another week into the offseason.

How did everyone enjoy the first Sunday in a while without football?

Yeah, me too.

Well, the good news is the NFL Combine is coming up, and the Titans will flood Indianapolis looking for prospects for the NFL Draft.

In the meantime, let's jump into another Titans mailbag.

Here's the link to submit questions: CLICK HERE.

Eli Hamilton from Idaho Falls, Idaho
Question: Officially Draft season Jim! I just wanted to tell you what i would do if the GM, probably won't happen but hey just gives Mr. Borgonzi another idea to ponder if he reads the mailbag!
What I would do is trade number 1 to the Jets for Garrett Wilson number 7 a 3rd rounder this year and a possible 2nd next year. This would put us in a position to pick the best player available maybe that edge out of Georgia or if we magically trade back into the top 5 and snag Abdul Carter if he is available! Then in free agency go take a chance on Justin Fields, he is an absolute stud and one of my favorite players to watch.
This not only gives us one of the best WR duos in the league a very promising young edge talent but possibly our QB of the future. This seems like a very realistic and reasonable plan in my opinion! What do you think!?

Jim: Well, this is another scenario. Don't see it all it happening, but I guess it's not crazy to think at least one of these things could play out. It's at least fun to talk about.

Eric King from New Albany, Mississippi
Question: Hi Jim. Hope all is well. The obvious question is what Tennessee does with the #1 pick. Getting past that my question is would it not be a little better to draft or maybe find a good left tackle in free agency and move JC Latham back to the right side where he played mostly in college? Thanks, TitanUp!

Jim: Hey Eric. I've talked about this topic in here a few times. I definitely think there's a scenario where the team would move JC Latham to right tackle – but only if the team finds a left tackle.

Steve Boxwell from Corpus Christi, Texas
Question: Jim. Happy Holidays. Looking Forward to New Season. Believe our biggest need is fixing the Right Tackle. Believe the Titans should pick Ajani Cornellus Right Tackle from Oregon. He could help prevent the pass rusher from getting to the Quarterback. So he has time to throw the football. We gave up too many sacks. And if you need Quarterback Pick Dillon Gabriel, Or Free Agency Justin Fields Or get Hendon Hooker. Anyone would definitely help.

Jim: Hey Steve. I can guarantee you the team will sign or draft a tackle. It's without a doubt one of the biggest priorities. And, the team will identify and QB, bank on that. In my opinion, there are options better than the ones you mentioned.

Neil McGeehan from County Derry, Ireland
Question: Hey Jim, hope you are well. Was a very tough season to be a Titans fan but as always, we live in hope!!
I can't be alone in thinking we have to make an offer to Rodgers? Bring a bit of stability to the QB role & let the young QBs learn from watching one of the best!

Jim: Hey Neil. Among the fan base, I don't think you're alone thinking this.

Chuck Meadows from White House, Tennessee
Question: Hello. Now that Mike Keith has gone back to U of Tennessee to do football and men's basketball, Who do the Titans have in mind for a PxP voice for the 2025 season and beyond? Just curious. Thank you.

Jim: Hey Chuck. The list of those who've expressed an interest in the job is a long one, I've seen it. The decision-makers are in the process of narrowing things down. Not sure when this will be decided. I do know Mike Keith will be a tough act to follow.

Jack Walker from Calabasas, California
Question: My opinion on the next Titans move changes day to day... But right now I'm thinking trade down to NYG or CLE to get an additional R2 pick... Take Carter at #2-3 then just go defense in R2 with best DT available (Harmon or Grant) and LB Jihaad Campbell. Then some OT prospect and also... Cam Skattebo. Watch video and tell me that guy isn't a Titan. Bring in a veteran QB, re-sign NWI and shoot for 8 wins next year. Tomorrow I'll be advocating for Shedeur and Tre Harris #1-2... Lol

Jim: Appreciate it, Jack.

Joseph Dixon from Gallatin, Tennessee
Question: Hey Jim, How come no one mentions Ryan Tannehill as a bridge QB? Just wondering.

Jim: Well, I guess you just did, Joseph. Ryan Tannehill was an underappreciate Titan for sure. But I think that ship has sailed.

Raymond Farrar from St. Louis, Missouri
Question: Hello, Mr. Wyatt! I'm obviously in the minority of this subject: mostly everyone believes that the Titans should go after a QB, according to the (ugh) "mock drafts ". I say offensive lineman because it doesn't matter who the QB is if you don't have a line to protect him. Now I understand the "getting the best player possible " theory. However, I stand by my opinion. Your thoughts?

Jim: Hey Raymond. The good news is the draft is seven rounds. The team can address both positions, and more.

Jimmy Armstrong from Germantown, Tennessee
Question: I want the Titans to draft quarterback Cam Ward. For the pick on the draft ok.

Jim: Another vote from Cam Ward…

Shane Jackson from Knoxville, Tennessee
Question: Hey Jim. I have some opinions on what the Titans should do with the #1 overall pick. I say they should should trade back to #3 with the Giants to let them make their decision at qb. Then if the Browns don't take a qb, we trade back with a qb needy team like the Raiders. With that pick at #6 a good person to pick is Tetaroia McMillan I think that he has incredible upside and can be a difference maker. That would then provide us with plenty of draft capital and a lot more top 100 picks like Borgonzi said he wanted. We can upgrade our depth and find some starters in those 2nd-4th round picks.

Jim: Thanks for weighing in, Shane.

Have a great week everyone!
