BOULDER, Colo. – Colorado's Pro Day, featuring Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, is now in the books.
Along with my first trip to Boulder.
It's spectacular, take my word for it.
Speaking of words, let's roll some more out in this Tuesday's Titans mailbag.

William Woods from Pembroke Ontario, Canada
Question: Hello Jim. Last year was unbearable. I've been a Titans fan for 5-6 years now, and I never want to feel the way I did last season ever again. I like the move to sign Dan Moore as left tackle, but some people seem to dislike that signing because of the money and his not-so-great stats. However, you won't find a 26-year-old like him on the market very often. What are your thoughts on the Dan Moore signing? As for the wide receiver position, the only addition has been Van Jefferson, despite the team's glaring issues at the position from last year. I know he is a hometown guy, but is that really the only move? Do you think they will draft a wide receiver in the second round, or are they more likely to address this issue through a trade or another signing? Overall, I just want to say thank you for everything you do for the fan base. Titan Up!
Jim: I appreciate it, William. I liked the signing of Dan Moore. He started at left tackle in Pittsburgh for four seasons for a reason. Believe me, Mike Tomlin wouldn't have counted on him if he didn't think he was a good player. And the Titans wouldn't have given him the contract if they didn't think he was a good player. Has he been perfect? No. But don't let the over-hyped PFF stats convince you he's a bad player. As for Van Jefferson, I can promise you he's won't be the only addition at receiver. Mike Borgonzi said this about the receiver position when I asked him about it at the owners meetings last week: "Wide receiver is a position we're going to have to attack here, whether that's through the draft, waiver claims. That's one position we're really going to have to attack through training camp."
Alberto Tenorio from Saltillo, Mexico
Question: Hi Jim, I thought I would see some questions regarding the throwback uniforms but did not see any.
I hope the decision to not wear them at all is temporary, we have the best throwbacks, this is a lost opportunity.
Also, this feels like a blow to us fans who come from the Houston Oilers days, we had to wait almost 25 years to see them and now they are gone again :(
Here is an idea, next year they can come back but now in the white version so they don't clash with the "Titans blue" jerseys.
Jim: Hello Alberto. I think the throwbacks will remain "in the closet" for future use, it just doesn't sound like you'll be seeing them in 2025.
Jerry Fairbanks from Bryan, Texas
Question: Jim I was born in Houston tx in 59 and the oilers in 1960 I have been a true oilers fan my entire life I'm 65 now and have been fighting stage 4 lung cancer I would love to see the Titans win the Super Bowl so what do you think there chances are in the future thanks Jim
Jim: I'm sorry to hear you're going through this, Jerry. Keep fighting, and the team will do the same. God bless.
Eric Koehler from Las Vegas, Nevada
Question: I read that Big Jeff has been posting negative comments that critics and fans have said about him. Not sure if you can pass along something positive but real titans fans know he's the heart and soul of the defense that is only going to get better. He's my favorite defensive player since Jevon Kearse. The day he stonewalled Dawkins on the goal line and kept Allen from the end zone is still etched in my brain. Haven't seen power like that since Reggie White.
Jim: Hopefully he sees this, Eric. I wish Jeffery wouldn't give some of the critics you/he mentioned any attention. They live for stuff like that.
Laura Williams from Dowelltown, Tennessee
Question: Hi Jim, I am writing just to support the Titans no matter what happens in the draft or how many wins we get next year. I hope for an exciting 2025 season and that we manage to shut up the crazy unfaithful so-called fans that come with all football teams. However, I am there for this team until… the end! Have an awesome week!
Jim: Hi Laura. This is my first mailbag submission from Dowelltown, which I now know is in Dekalb County, population 361. I appreciate you taking time to send this. If I'm ever in Dowelltown I'll give you a shout.
Adrian Lopez from Cua, Edo. Miranda, Venezuela
Question: Hey Jim espero este todo bien... Gracias.... TITAN UP...
Jim: Hola Adrian.
Martin Benitez from Uraguay
Question: Hi Jim how are you?
I write this just to say that i LOVE the light/Titan blue jersey, i love that Colour to be the home jersey, in from Uruguay and our national soccer team is known as "la celeste" (the light-blue) so im in love with that Colour. Ok, short mail this time!
By the way, i like where the team is heading with the Brinker and Borgonzi dúo, and i really really hope that we can enjoy Can Ward for many years to come, i think the franchise deserves that…. We have to make shorter that "one yard from…."
Have a great week!!! Titan up!!! Y vamo arriba la celeste!!!!
Jim: Hey Martin. Man, we're spanning the globe with his mailbag. I love it.
Mark Brown from Paris
Question: First of all, thank you Jim for all you do. no question today, I just wanted to express my excitement about the home jersey change. Now we will at least look like the best team on the field.
Jim: Odds are this is Paris, Tennessee, but we've gotten some from all over the map in this mailbag, so you can't assume anything. Either way, thanks for chiming in, Mark.
Ryan Elder from Augusta, Georgia
Question: Hey Jim, delete if not allowed but I was wondering if I could promote my own Titans platform in here? We have chatted about my dabblings in sports journalism, and I'm currently in a good spot to have more time to contribute to this hobby and passion of mine.
I am a contributor for an outlet called Prime Time Sports Talk, and I have shifted my focus from covering Monday Night Football games to strictly covering the Titans. That said, I have rebranded all of my social media pages as Prime Time Titans (X handle: @pt\_titans\_ryan).
I have no intention of taking traffic away from TennesseeTitans.com (not that I can compete right now 😂), but I merely want to put this out to Titans fans who are interested in another voice online.
One of my focuses I'm excited about sharing is on "cursed AI." Basically, I enter silly Titans-related prompts into ChatGPT or Grok and post whatever absurdity it spits out. I know many enjoy memes, so I think there is some good potential entertainment value here.
Thanks Jim, appreciate all you do and look up to you as a sports writer.
Jim: Dropping this in here, Ryan. Good luck.
John Jackson from Knoxville, Tennessee
Question: I just wanted to say that I don't think these people know at all what they're talking about when they say to trade down for Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter. We can't just keep ignoring the obvious need at qb for this team and I just can't trust Levis anymore. I think the clear pick should most definitely be Cam Ward to be our franchise signal caller. I understand wanting more draft capital but at the same time Ward could be someone to lead this team to a playoff berth and maybe someday a Super Bowl. I just wanted to provide my insight into things.
Jim: Appreciate it, John.
Robert Andrews from Levittown, Pennsylvania
Question: Hey Jim hope all is well. I would like to ask you and any member of the Titans including coaches to my baby shower, after all he is being named after the team lol. Hope someone can make it.
It's May 24th 12-3:30
Bella Tori at the Mansion
321 S Bellevue Ave, Langhorne, PA 19047
Celebrating Baby Titan Antonio Francis Andrews
Expected July 26th
Jim: Well, this is a first in here, Robert. Congrats on the upcoming birth of young Titan, and the team appreciates your fandom. But I doubt anybody will be able to make the road trip unfortunately. I Googled Bella Tori at the Mansion, though, and it looks pretty swanky!
Ed Pierce from Nashville, Tennessee
Question: Jim. I am a first-time writer, late in life NFL fan who went to a college with not football team. I have been getting into the pre-season aspects of team building since Vrabel. I have just heard that our owner went to Miami to see Cam. True??? If so, it is fair to say that she is more "hands on" than previously assumed (ala Jones with Dallas) or just staying close because of recent changes in the front office and getting to know what she bought?
Jim: Hi Ed. There are things I hear that I can't report because I work for the team. When I saw Easton Freeze mention that in the bottom of his story on Cam Ward last week, let's just say it wasn't the first time I'd heard it. But, keep in mind, the owner has a home in South Florida, and she was down there leading up to the owners meetings in West Palm, so it was pretty convenient.
Have a great weekend everyone!
