NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Houston Texans.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-The Titans signed five players to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, and all five players practiced with the team for the first time on Wednesday.
The five players – tight end Devin Asiasi, linebacker Tae Crowder, defensive tackle David Moa, defensive back Darius Phillips and defensive back Kendall Sheffield – began a crash course in getting up to speed.
"Yeah, that started as soon as they signed, being able to meet with us and the coaches and getting them up to speed as quickly as possible," Titans Coach Mike Vrabel said. "We always talk that it doesn't matter how you ended up here, the only thing that matters is what you do while you're here. We've gotten guys ready to play. Some of those guys may be available this week and may get an opportunity."
-Rookie quarterback Will Levis was on the practice field on Wednesday, and he looked pretty good while being listed as a full participant.

And, here's a separate story I wrote today on Levis: CLICK HERE.
-Titans cornerback Caleb Farley, who returned to practice last week, practiced again.
Farley, a first-round pick out of Virginia Tech in 2021, remains on the team's Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. But the Titans moved Farley to their Designated to Return list.
Vrabel said last week Farley won't play this year, "but it's good to get him out there, and continue to do the individual, to see some football, and then we'll see where things go from there. It's a testament to him to work hard to get back."
