Quick Hits on the Titans From Wednesday of Jaguars Week

QuickHits-(21)

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Here's a look at today's developments:

-When veteran Ryan Tannehill joined the Titans back in 2019, he didn't know what would happen next.

As things turned out, he became the team's regular starter, and he guided the franchise to plenty of success.

Heading into Sunday's season finale, Tannehill knows he could be preparing for his final game in Tennessee.

He'd like to go out in a high note.

"I spent five years of my life here in this organization," Tannehill said on Wednesday. "A lot of great people. I would love to be able to leave it on a win."

When asked exactly what "it" means, Tannehill replied: "The season. My time here. The season."

With quarterback Will Levis dealing with a right foot injury, in addition to his lingering left ankle injury, Tannehill is next in line to start on Sunday.

Tannehill, whose contract expires in March, said he's tried not to do much reminiscing.

"Having the chance of playing helps me stay focused," Tannehill said. "I'm sure if I was just kind of sitting around I'd have a little more time. But having the chance to play, keeping my focus on that, I'm trying to prepare myself if need be to be ready to go."

"(But) I definitely realize that (this could be it) and have the thoughts. I don't fully sit and reflect on the last five years at this time. The time will come, and I'll definitely do that. But right now, I think I'd be letting down my teammates by letting too much thought into that and not preparing myself to go play."

-While Levis didn't practice on Wednesday, he did talk to reporters before practice and provided an update on his health.

-Titans cornerback Caleb Farley, who returned to practice last month, practiced again on Wednesday but he won't play vs the Jaguars.
