NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Indianapolis Colts.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-Titans receiver Treylon Burks was back on the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since the week leading up to the Steelers game.
Burks was listed as a limited participant on the team's Injury Report.
Burks suffered a concussion in the team's November 2 game in Pittsburgh, when he was carted off the field.
Titans Coach Mike Vrabel was asked about Burks earlier in the week.
"I'm hopeful for a lot of things," Vrabel said. "But I'll just wait and see whenever the player, in this particular case Treylon (Burks) clears the protocol. Then we'll practice with him. No different than if that was anybody else. Hopeful that we get all our players back that aren't playing right now. So whatever that is, that's what it will be. That's all I can say just because that's how you're supposed to operate within the protocol."
Burks has played in five games this season, and he has eight catches for 122 yards.
-The Titans held a walk-through on Wednesday, and they'll ramp up work throughout the course of the week.
-Quarterback Will Levis appears on the Injury Report with an ankle injury. He was listed as a limited participant in today's practice.
Here's a look at all the injury updates from Wednesday:
-Linebacker Luke Gifford (shin) was on an exercise bike during the stretch period and did not immediately join teammates for individual drills. He was listed as a limited participant.
-Safety Terrell Edmunds (shoulder) was back at practice Wednesday after missing Sunday's game. Edmunds was listed as a full participant.
-Guard Daniel Brunskill (knee) was limited in today's practice.
-The Titans re-signed defensive lineman Jaleel Johnson back to the active roster earlier on Wednesday, and he was back on the practice field.
-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before holding a walkthrough on Saturday, ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts at Nissan Stadium.
