NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Indianapolis Colts.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-Titans running back Derrick Henry ran for 76 yards and two touchdowns in this past Sunday's game against the Panthers, but to hear him tell it, he didn't do his job well enough.
"Let's just say I could have had a lot more (yards)," Henry said on Thursday. "I feel I could have had a lot more. I'm not too happy about it. Just watching it, learning from it, it's tough when there were opportunities I didn't take advantage of. Just grow from it, and try when the next game comes to take advantage of the opportunities."
The Panthers game will serve as Henry's motivation heading into this Sunday's game against the Colts.
Henry also hasn't forgotten about the October 8 contest against the Colts, when he ran for just 43 yards.
"43 yards makes you want to cringe," Henry said. "I have to be better. I have to play better. And that is going to be my main focus this whole week, just playing better and being efficient in the run game."
Henry has rushed for 100-plus yards in 10 of his last 12 AFC South rematches. However, the two contests in which he did not do so were against Indianapolis.
-I wrote a separate story on Titans receiver Chris Moore on Thursday. During the NFL's My Cause My Cleats campaign, Moore is sharing the story of his late son, CJ, who was lost to stillbirth in July 2020.
And he's chosen "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" as his cause. The organization takes remembrance photographs for families as part of their healing journey following their loss. Here's that story: CLICK HERE.
Here's a look at all the injury updates from Thursday:
