Quick Hits on the Titans After Friday's Practice

QuickHits-(7)

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday to continue preparations for Sunday's game in Cleveland against the Browns.

Here's a look at the developments of the day, in quick-hitting fashion …

-Safety Amani Hooker made quite a splash in the team's season-opener against the Saints, recording a takeaway on the game's opening kickoff, and later an interception.

Hooker suffered a concussion near the end of the game, however, and it sidelined him for last Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Hooker is now officially back, as he cleared concussion protocol on Friday.

"I had to get through some practices, and make sure that I felt good," Hooker said. "The doctors and neuro doctors, they cleared me from there."

Hooker said he's glad to be back, and he wants to pick up where he left off.

"I am very happy to be able to feel the way I do right now," Hooker said. "I'm very fortunate as well, that I'm able to feel good a week-and-a-half, almost two weeks after the hit. You just have to make sure I could come back and feel like I am healthy. I don't want to come back too early and put the team at jeopardy and myself."

-The Titans made a number of roster moves on Friday:

The team promoted receiver Mason Kinsey and linebacker Chance Campbell from the practice squad to the team's 53-man roster.

The team also placed receiver Kearis Jackson on Injured Reserve while waiving linebacker Otis Reese IV.

-Titans receiver DeAndre Hopkins conducted an interview on Friday, when he discussed his decision to re-enroll in online classes at Clemson University, as well as his health.

Hopkins is officially listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday's game.

Now, some final updates from the Injury Report:

-Cornerback Kristian Fulton, who missed Sunday's game against the Chargers with a hamstring injury, practiced in full again on Friday and he's good to go.

-Guard Peter Skoronski, who missed Sunday's game against the Chargers, did not practice again on Friday and he's been ruled OUT for Sunday's game in Cleveland.

-Defensive lineman Teair Tart (knee) was back at practice on Friday, in full, and he's good to go.

-Outside linebacker Harold Landry (hamstring) was back at practice on Friday and he's good to go.

Landry, who was a full participant Friday after being limited earlier in the week, chatted with reporters on Friday.

-Defensive back Anthony Kendall (hip) was limited in Friday's practice and he's QUESTIONABLE.

-Linebacker Luke Gifford (quad) was a full participant on Friday and he's good to go.

-Defensive lineman Denico Autry (foot/groin) was back at practice on Friday, but on a limited basis. He's listed as QUESTONABLE for Sunday's game.

-Running back Derrick Henry (toe), who did not practice on Thursday, returned to practice on Friday and he's good to go.

-The Browns released their final Injury Report on Friday, and CB Greg Newsome (elbow) was the only player ruled OUT for Sunday's game after missing practices all week. Tackle James Hudson (ankle) did not practice on Friday and he's listed as QUESTIONABLE.

-The Titans are scheduled to hold a walk-through on Saturday morning. The team is scheduled to fly to Cleveland on Saturday afternoon for Sunday's game against the Browns.
