NASHVILLE – The Titans were back on the practice field on Wednesday to ramp up preparations for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Some quick hits on the latest developments …
-Cornerback Adoree' Jackson practiced with the team for the first time this season. The Titans moved Jackson to the 'Designated for Return' list earlier on Wednesday. This designation will open up a three-week window for Jackson to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from injured reserve.
-Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) did not practice.
-Tackle Isaiah Wilson (illness) did not practice.
-Tight end Jonnu Smith, who suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's game vs the Steelers, was limited in practice.
-Tight end MyCole Pruitt, activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday, did not practice on Wednesday with an illness.
-Defensive lineman DaQuan Jones (foot) was limited in practice.
-Receiver Corey Davis, activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list earlier this week, returned to practice on Wednesday. Titans receivers coach Rob Moore welcomed him back with some pretty hefty punches in individual drills.
-Safety Dane Cruikshank, who was put on the Designated for Return list last week, was back on the practice field today as well.
-The Steelers released their first Injury Report on Wednesday, and it looks like this: LB Devin Bush (knee), CB Mike Hilton (shoulder), C Maurkice Pouncey (foot), QB Ben Roethlisberger (not injury related), WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), DE Stephon Tuitt (not injury related), and FB Derek Watt (hamstring) did not practice, while G David DeCastro (abdomen) was limited. WR Diontae Johnson (back) was a full participant.
-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before holding a walkthrough on Saturday.
