NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to begin preparations for Monday's game vs the Buffalo Bills at Nissan Stadium.

Some quick hits after Wednesday's practice:

-Receiver Julio Jones, who hasn't played the past two games because of a hamstring injury, returned to practice on Wednesday.

Jones, who has 12 catches for 204 yards on the season, left the team's September 26 game against the Colts in the second half, and didn't return. Jones worked in individual drills on Wednesday, and he moved well.

-Receiver A.J. Brown, who returned to action on Sunday in Jacksonville after missing the Jets game because of a hamstring injury, also practiced on Wednesday.

-Linebacker Avery Williamson, officially signed by the team earlier in the day, practiced on Wednesday. Williamson was decked out in No.53, with yellow cleats.

A native of Milan, Williamson was drafted by the Titans in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Kentucky. Williamson started four seasons with Titans (2014-2017), and he led the team in tackles for two seasons before signing a free-agent deal with the New York Jets. Williamson played in 15 games with the Steelers in 2020, and he tallied 103 tackles. He wore No.54 in his first stint with the team.

-The Titans aren't required to put out an Injury Report until Thursday this week because of the Monday night game. Among those not spotted on the practice field during the open period: Cornerback Caleb Farley, cornerback Kristian Fulton, linebacker Joe Jones, linebacker Monty Rice and defensive lineman Teair Tart.

-Edge rusher Bud Dupree, who has missed the last three games with a knee injury, practiced on Wednesday.

-Safety Amani Hooker, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list earlier in the day, practiced with the team for the first time since being injured in Week One.

This designation opens up a 21-day window for Hooker to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

-Running back Darrynton Evans, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list last week, practiced again on Wednesday.

-Safety Brady Breeze, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" earlier this month, also practiced Wednesday.

-Defensive lineman Kyle Peko and linebacker Dylan Cole, signed to the team's practice squad earlier today, practiced with the team on Wednesday. Peko has been assigned No. 78, Cole has been assigned No. 45.

-The Bills will release their initial Injury Report on Thursday.

-The Titans placed punter Brett Kern on the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before holding a walkthrough on Saturday before Monday night's game against the Bills.

-In addition to Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and quarterback Ryan Tannehill, safety Kevin Byard, center Ben Jones, defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons and defensive back Chris Jackson all talked to reporters before Wednesday's practice.
