Quick Hits After Wednesday's Titans Practice

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

Some quick hits on the Titans after Wednesday's session:

-Veteran receiver Golden Tate, signed to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, practiced for the first time.

Tate, who prepped at Pope John Paul II in Hendersonville, Tenn., was assigned No.19.

-Veteran cornerback Buster Skrine, signed to the team's active roster on Tuesday, practiced for the first time.

Skrine was assigned No.38.

-Receiver A.J. Brown, who left Sunday's game with a chest injury and did not return, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Linebacker David Long Jr. (hamstring), who has missed the team's last two games, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Guard Nate Davis (concussion), who missed his second game on Sunday with a concussion, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Outside linebacker Ola Adeniyi (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Running back Jeremy McNichols (concussion), who did not play vs the Texans, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Linebacker Rashaan Evans (ankle), who has missed the last four games, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Tight end Geoff Swaim (concussion), who missed Sunday's game, returned to practice on Wednesday and he was listed as a full participant.

-Cornerback Greg Mabin (ankle), who has missed the past two games, practiced on Wednesday. He was listed as a full participant.

-Cornerback Jackrabbit Jenkins (chest), who did not play vs the Texans, returned to practice on Wednesday. He was listed as a limited participant.

-Defensive lineman Teair Tart, who was carted off the field at Nissan Stadium on Sunday with an ankle injury, did not practice on Wednesday.

-Defensive lineman Naquan Jones (illness) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Running back D'Onta Foreman (tricep) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

-Guard Rodger Saffold (back) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

-Veteran outside linebacker John Simon, re-signed to the team's active roster on Tuesday, was back on the practice field, and back in No. 59.

-Running back Rodney Smith, signed to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, practiced for the first time. Smith was assigned No.83.

-Receiver Austin Mack, signed to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, practiced for the first time. Mack was assigned No.82.

-DL Kevin Strong, signed to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, practiced for the first time. Strong was assigned No.97.

-Fullback Khari Blasingame, moved to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list on Tuesday, was back on the practice field.

This designation opened up a 21-day window for Blasingame to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

-The Titans placed back-up quarterback Logan Woodside to the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday.

Behind starter Ryan Tannehill, the Titans have quarterback Kevin Hogan on the team's practice squad.

Tannehill spent time on the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list in late August/early September.

-The Patriots released their initial Injury Report on Wednesday, and it looked like this: Punter Jack Bailey (rt. knee), DL Christian Barmore (knee), LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (ribs), T Trent Brown (calf), K Nick Folk (left knee), RB Damien Harris (neck), TE Hunter Henry (neck), LB Don't'a Hightower (ankle), G Shaq Mason (abdomen), TE Jonnu Smith (shoulder) and LB Kyle Van Noy (groin) were all limited in Wednesday's practice.

-The Titans aren't scheduled to practice on Thanksgiving Day. The team will return to the practice field on Friday before traveling to Boston on Saturday for Sunday's game vs the Patriots in Foxborough.

-In addition to Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing, defensive coordinator Shane Bowen and special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman, safety Amani Hooker, left tackle Taylor Lewan, running back Dontrell Hilliard and cornerback Elijah Molden all talked to reporters before practice on Wednesday.
