NASHVILLE – The Titans hit the practice field on Wednesday to continue preparations for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Some quick hits on the latest developments …
-Because of rainy and wet conditions, the Titans moved today's session inside the team's bubble at Saint Thomas Sports Park. It was closed to reporters, so sorry, no photos or videos today.
-Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) did not practice.
-Safety Dane Cruikshank (groin) did not practice.
-Cornerback Kristian Fulton (knee) did not practice.
-Cornerback Johnathan Joseph (illness) did not practice.
-Tackle Dennis Kelly (knee) did not practice.
-Defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons (not injury related) did not practice.
-Cornerback Tye Smith (shoulder) did not practice.
-Offensive lineman Daniel Munyer (hand) was limited in practice.
-Cornerback Adoree' Jackson, who practiced three days last week but was inactive for Sunday's game, continues to work his way back. The Titans moved Jackson to the 'Designated for Return' last week. This designation opened up a three-week window for Jackson to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from injured reserve.
Coach Mike Vrabel was asked about Jackson earlier on Wednesday.
"We'd like to get everybody back that we could possibly get back and see where Adoree' is this week," Vrabel said. "We'll practice and see how he feels and see how he responds."
-The Bengals released their first Injury Report today, and it looked like this:
DT Geno Atkins (not injury related), DT Mike Daniels (not injury related), T Bobby Hart (knee), C Trey Hopkins (concussion), RB Joe Mixon (foot), CB Darius Phillips (knee), T Jonah Williams (stinger), and S Brandon Williams (knee) did not practice. LB Marcus Bailey (neck), TE Cethan Carter (shoulder), WR A.J. Green (not injury related), CB William Jackson (concussion) and G Michael Jordan (back) were limited. WR John Ross (illness) was a full participant.
-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday and will then hold a walkthrough on Saturday before traveling to Cincinnati for Sunday's game.
