NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to ramp up preparations for Sunday's game against the Seahawks in Seattle.

Some quick hits after Wednesday's practice:

-New Titans kicker Randy Bullock, promoted from the practice squad on Tuesday, practiced with the team for the first time.

Bullock was outfitted in No. 14.

Bullock (5-9, 210) has kicked in 107 NFL games over nine seasons, with the Texans (2012-15) and Bengals (2016-20), along with stops at the Jets, Giants and Steelers. Bullock has connected on 168 of 202 field goal attempts and 215 of 225 extra points during career.

"Every time we go out there to kick I hope they do their job, no matter who it is – whether it's Brett Kern, Randy, or the 53 other kickers that we've had since I've been here," Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said on Wednesday.

The Titans waived kicker Michael Badgley after a tough outing in Sunday's game. Badgley was signed on Saturday when the team placed kicker Sam Ficken on Injured Reserve.

Bullock earned All-America honors as a senior at Texas A&M, where he was teammates with Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

"It is kind of wild, right?" Tannehill said of being reunited with Bullock. "I walked into the cafeteria on Saturday morning (after Bullock first came to town) and saw him sitting there. I was shocked to see a familiar face, going back to college. I held for him for four years at A&M, and saw what he could do obviously. He's been kicking since then. I am excited to have him on the team and I'm looking forward to watching him bang 'em through the uprights."

-The Titans practiced outdoors in the rain on Wednesday, rather than moving inside the bubble. The weather did clear during the latter part of practice. Sunday's forecast in Seattle calls for a 50 percent chance of rain showers at times, with a high of 61 degrees.

-Outside linebacker Bud Dupree (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Linebacker David Long, inactive for Sunday's game against the Cardinals because of a hamstring injury, went in early during the open portion of practice. He was listed as limited on the team's Injury Report.

-Tight end Anthony Firkser (knee) also went in early during the open portion of practice, and he was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice.

-Outside linebacker Harold Landry (groin) was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice.

-Cornerback Caleb Farley (shoulder) appears on the team's Injury Report, but he was a full participant on Wednesday.

-Defensive back Chris Jackson (hamstring) appears on the team's Injury Report, but he was a full participant on Wednesday.

-Receiver Josh Reynolds (foot) appears on the team's Injury Report, but he was also a full participant on Wednesday.

-Outside linebacker Derick Roberson (groin) appears on the team's Injury Report, but he was a full participant on Wednesday.

-Titans receivers Julio Jones and A.J. Brown both practiced on Wednesday. Brown was listed as limited on the team's Injury Report with a knee injury.

-Safety Bradley McDougald is expected to see his workload increase even more after stepping in for Amani Hooker on Sunday. Hooker was placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, and he has started the recovery process.

McDougald, who played at Kansas, has played in 105 games, with 82 starts, in his NFL career with the Chiefs (2013), Buccaneers (2013-2016), Seahawks (2017-2019) and the Jets (2020). He's recorded 459 tackles with 10 interceptions and 43 passes defensed in his career. He played in seven games with the Jets last season, starting all of them, before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury.

-Tight end Austin Fort, signed to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, practiced with the team for the first time.

-In addition to Tannehill, a number of other Titans spoke to reporters before Wednesday's practice, including linebacker Rashaan Evans, receiver Chester Rogers, defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, cornerback Kristian Fulton, receiver A.J. Brown, and McDougald.

-The Seahawks released their first Injury Report on Wednesday and it looked like this: WR D'Wayne Eskridge (knee), G Gabe Jackson (NIR-Rest) and RB Rashaad Penny (calf) did not practice. RB Chris Carson (NIR-Rest), DT Bryan Mone (elbow) and T Duane Brown (NIR-Rest) were limited in practice. WR Penny Hart (concussion), S Marquise Blair (knee), CB Sidney Jones (groin) and CB D.J. Reed (foot) practiced in full.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before flying to Seattle on Saturday morning.
