NASHVILLE – The Titans were back on the practice field on Wednesday to begin preparations for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Some quick hits on the latest developments …
-Receiver Corey Davis (hamstring) and safety Kenny Vaccaro (illness) did not practice.
-Receiver A.J. Brown (knee) was limited.
-Outside linebackers Jadeveon Clowney and Vic Beasley worked with Titans head coach Mike Vrabel on a side field during the individual period. Vrabel said earlier today he'd like to get Beasley, who's been dealing with a knee injury, on the field in games as soon as he's ready. Clowney was listed as limited on Wednesday's report with a hip, while Beasley was listed as limited as well.
-Running back Darrynton Evans (hamstring), outside linebacker Derick Roberson (knee) and offensive lineman Jamil Douglas (hand), all ruled out for Monday's game vs the Broncos, returned to practice on Wednesday. All three were listed as full participants.
-Linebacker Daren Bates, signed to the team's practice squad over the weekend, was on the practice field for the first time. Bates has been assigned No. 56.
-The Titans are slowly getting ramped up while preparing for the Jaguars. On Wednesday, Vrabel said it could be another day before players really get their legs back on a short week.
-The Jaguars released their first injury report for Sunday game. Defensive end Josh Allen (calf), tight end Tyler Davis (knee), tight end Tyler Eifert (not injury related), cornerback D.J. Hayden (not injury related) and center Brandon Linder (not injury related) did not practice.
