NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Tuesday to continue preparations for Saturday's Divisional Round Playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Some quick hits after Tuesday's session:
-Running back Derrick Henry, moved to the team's 'Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list earlier this month, was back at practice on Tuesday.
Outfitted in pads, Henry had a chance to get his first contact in some time, and he didn't shy away from it.
The designation opened up a 21-day window for Henry to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
Henry suffered a foot injury in the team's October 31 game vs the Colts, and he's missed the last nine games.
The Titans will need to activate Henry at some point before Saturday's game.
-Defensive lineman Teair Tart (ankle), who missed the Texans game, was back at practice on Tuesday. Tart was listed as limited on the team's Injury Report.
-Defensive lineman Naquan Jones (knee), who also missed the Texans game, was also back on the practice field. Jones was a full participant at Tuesday's practice.
-Defensive back Buster Skrine (hamstring) is the third Titan listed on the Injury Report, but he was a full participant in Tuesday's session.
-Fullback Tory Carter, moved to the team's 'Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list on Monday, was also back on the practice field for the first time since being injured in the Jacksonville game on December 12.
-Running back Jordan Wilkins, activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday, was also back at practice. Wilkins is on the team's practice squad.
-The Bengals released their first Injury Report on Tuesday, and it looked like this: DE Trey Hendrickson (concussion), WR Stanley Morgan (hamstring), and DT Josh Tupou (knee) were all limited. CB Jalen Davis (ankle), CB Mike Hilton (ankle) and DE Sam Hubbard (ribs) were all full participants in Tuesday's session.
-In addition to Titans HC Mike Vrabel, quarterback Ryan Tannehill, running back D'Onta Foreman, cornerback Elijah Molden, cornerback Kristian Fulton, safety Kevin Byard, linebacker David Long and defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons all talked to reporters before Tuesday's practice.
