NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday to continue preparations for Saturday's Divisional Round Playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Some quick hits after Thursday's session:
-The Titans practiced outside in the cold on Thursday, with temperatures in the low to mid-20s and feels-like temperatures in the lower teens. Snow flurries fluttered in the air throughout the session. The forecast on Saturday calls for a kickoff temperature in the mid- to upper-30s, dropping into the upper-20s to low-30s by the end of the game.
-The Titans stuck with their routine on Thursday, as "Friday" by Sir Charles Jones played on the loudspeakers during the stretch period. It's usually played on Friday, of course, before a Sunday game. With this week's game scheduled for Thursday, it's a Friday on the normal NFL practice schedule.
-Running back Derrick Henry, moved to the team's 'Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list earlier this month, was back at practice again on Thursday, and he was in a good mood.
The Titans will need to activate Henry at some point before Saturday's game, and Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said on Thursday the team will make a decision at some point Friday.
"Derrick is progressing well," Vrabel said. "We will see and make a determination on him tomorrow. Obviously, I think his workload probably increased throughout the week."
Henry will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve. Henry suffered a foot injury in the team's October 31 game vs the Colts, and he's missed the last nine games.
-Cornerback Jackrabbit Jenkins (ankle), added to the Injury Report on Wednesday, returned to practice on Thursday after being held out the previous day. He was listed as a full participant on the Injury Report for Thursday, and he's good to go.
-Outside linebacker Derick Roberson (Not Injury Related) returned to practice Thursday after missing on Wednesday. He was listed as a full participant on the Injury Report, and he's good to go
-Defensive lineman Teair Tart (ankle), who missed the Texans game, practiced again on Thursday on a limited basis. He's listed as QUESTIONABLE on the team's Injury Report.
-Defensive lineman Naquan Jones (knee), who also missed the Texans game, also practice Thursday. He was listed as a full participant on the Injury Report, and he's good to go
-Defensive back Buster Skrine (hamstring) also practiced again on Thursday. He was listed as a full participant on the Injury Report, and he's good to go.
-Fullback Tory Carter, moved to the team's 'Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list on Monday, returned to the practice field this week for the first time since being injured in the Jacksonville game on December 12. He practiced again on Thursday.
-The Bengals released their final Injury Report on Thursday, and it looked like this: DE Trey Hendrickson (concussion), DT Josh Tupou (knee), CB Jalen Davis (ankle), CB Mike Hilton (ankle) and DE Sam Hubbard (ribs) all were full participants in Thursday's session and they're good to go. WR Stanley Morgan (hamstring) was limited on Thursday, and he's QUESTIONABLE for Saturday's game.
-The Titans are scheduled to hold a walkthrough on Friday leading up to Saturday's game vs the Bengals.
-In addition to Titans HC Mike Vrabel, receiver A.J. Brown, receiver Julio Jones and left tackle Taylor Lewan all talked to reporters after Thursday's practice.
