NASHVILLE – The Titans were back on the practice field on Thursday to continue preparations for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Some quick hits on the latest developments …
-Because of the weather, today's session was moved inside the team's indoor practice facility. And because of that, the practice was closed to media. So sorry, no practice videos. But I did my best to piece together the events of the day by using the Injury Report.
-Receiver A.J. Brown, who did not play on Sunday because of a knee injury, missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday.
-Cornerback Malcolm Butler (quad), who missed practice on Wednesday, returned to practice on a limited basis on Thursday.
-Tackle Dennis Kelly, who missed Wednesday's session with an illness, returned and was a full participant.
-Tight end Jonnu Smith (ankle) was also a full participant on Thursday after missing on Wednesday,
-Defensive back Chris Jackson (hamstring) was limited on Thursday after being held out on Wednesday.
-Outside linebacker Derick Roberson (illness) did not practice for the second straight day. Roberson has missed the team's first two games.
-Titans running back Darrynton Evans (hamstring), who also sat out Sunday's game, practiced again in full on Thursday. Titans special teams coach Craig Aukerman said earlier today he expects Evans to be in the mix at kick returner when he returns to action.
-Outside linebacker Vic Beasley, who has missed the team's first two contests, practiced again on Thursday as well as he edges closer to making his Titan debut. He was listed as a full participant again on Thursday.
-Guard Jamil Douglas (hand) was a full participant for the second straight day.
-Cornerback Johnathan Joseph (calf), who was a full participant in Wednesday's session, did not practice on Thursday.
-The Vikings released their second injury report on Thursday. It looked like this: cornerback Cameron Dantzler (rib), linebacker Troy Dye (foot), cornerback Mike Hughes (neck) did not practice for the second day in a row. Tackle Riley Reiff (ankle) and running back Mike Boone (concussion) were limited. Cornerback Kris Boyd (hamstring), added to the Injury Report today, did not practice.
-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Friday before traveling to Minnesota for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
