Quick Hits After Thursday's Titans Practice

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's season opener against the Arizona Cardinals at Nissan Stadium.

Some quick hits after Thursday's practice:

-Titans receiver A.J. Brown returned to the practice field on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session, and being listed on the team's Injury Report with a "knee." Brown looked good in individual drills, and he was in a great mood. He was listed as a full participant on Thursday's Injury Report.

-Receiver Julio Jones practiced for the third day this week. During individual drills, Jones and Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill spent a good amount of time chatting before routes as the two continue to get on the same page. Jones does not appear on the team's Injury Report for Week One.

-Receiver Josh Reynolds was added to the team's Injury Report with a foot injury. He was listed as limited in Thursday's session.

-Tight end Tommy Hudson was also added to the team's Injury Report with a toe injury, and he was also listed as limited.

-Linebacker David Long Jr., who was limited on Wednesday with a hamstring injury, was at practice on Thursday. He was listed as limited again on Thursday.

-Cornerback Chris Jackson, also listed as limited in Wednesday's session with a hamstring injury, was also spotted on the field during the open period. He was listed as limited again on Thursday.

-The Cardinals released their Thursday injury report, and it looked like this: TE Darrell Daniels (toe) was limited, and LB Dennis Gardeck (knee) was limited.

-Two Titans talked to reporters before practice – center Ben Jones and outside linebacker Harold Landry.

-Titans running back Derrick Henry met with reporters before practice on Thursday, and said he feels great heading into the season. "I am good," Henry said. "I'm ready to go." Henry said the Cardinals are fast on defense, "and they are physical. We're just trying to watch film as much as we can to make sure we're ready for them."

-Titans DC Shane Bowen mentioned Elijah Molden and Chris Jackson when asked about nickel position.

-Titans OC Todd Downing didn't name a starter when asked about the right tackle position. Downing he'll leave that up to head coach Mike Vrabel.

-Julio Jones and A.J. Brown are scheduled to speak to reporters after Friday's practice.

-The Titans on Thursday activated offensive lineman Cole Banwart from the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list, and then waived him from the team's active roster.

-The Titans return to the practice field on Friday to continue preparations for Sunday's game.
