NASHVILLE – The Titans just wrapped up practice on Friday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.
Because the team moved practice indoors, the session was closed to reporters because of restrictions related to the COVID-19 protocols inside NFL facilities.
So, we're doing our best with what we have to work with here.
Some quick hits on the latest developments …
--Linebacker Derick Roberson (knee) and offensive lineman Jamil Douglas (hand) did not practice for the second straight day.
-Safety Kenny Vaccaro (not injury related), who did not practice on Thursday, returned to practice and was a full participant.
-Outside linebacker Vic Beasley, who worked one-on-one with Titans head coach Mike Vrabel during individual drills on Wednesday and Thursday, did not practice after being limited in the previous sessions.
-Receiver Corey Davis (hamstring), who was limited on Thursday, was a full participant on Friday.
-Running back Darrynton Evans (hamstring) was listed as limited for the second day in a row.
-Cornerback Adoree' Jackson (knee) was added to the injury report, and listed as limited.
-Tackle Dennis Kelly (not injury related) and guard Rodger Saffold (not injury related) did not practice on Friday, according to the official report.
-New Titans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney practiced for the third straight day. Clowney said on Thursday he's planning to play on Monday night.
-The Broncos released their second injury report for Monday's game. OLB Von Miller (ankle) and ILB Mark Barron (hamstring) did not practice once again, while OLB Bradley Chubb (knee) and G Graham Glasgow (ankle), listed as limited on Thursday, practice in full on Friday. WR KJ Hamler (hamstring) was limited for the second day in a row. TE Albert Okwuegbunam (ankle) was a full participant, while WR Courtland Sutton (shoulder) did not practice on Friday. S Trey Marshall (wrist) also appears on Denver's injury report, but he was a full participant again on Friday.
-Broncos coach Vic Fangio on Friday gave this update on WR Courtland Sutton's shoulder injury: "He won't practice (Friday), but we think he will be limited (Saturday). He will be day to day.''
-Broncos linebacker Von Miller had surgery on Friday, and he won't play vs. the Titans. Said Fangio: "I was told (surgery) went well, and we'll see how it goes. They haven't said anything on a timetable based on his surgery, that will depend on the healing.''
-The Titans continued preparations for Monday's season opener against the Broncos. The team is scheduled to hold a light practice session on Saturday (closed to media) before traveling to Denver on Sunday.
