NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for the home opener on Sunday vs the New York Jets.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-Safety Jamal Adams made it pretty clear he plans to make his Titans debut on Sunday.
He kept saying the same thing when asked about his availability for the game:
"I'll be there," Adams said. "It's go time."
Adams, who has been dealing with a hip injury, practiced in full on Wednesday after missing practices leading up to the season opener against the Bears, when he was among the team's inactives.
Adams said he feels good.
"I am super excited, man," he said. "Obviously it's an opportunity of a lifetime. I don't take my opportunities lightly. Obviously, I've been going through so many injuries over the years, I'm just grateful to be back out there with the guys. Whatever I can do to help, that's what I'm here for."
Adams said he's looking forward to facing the team that drafted him in the 2017 NFL Draft – the Jets.
"I respect the hell out of the Jets," said Adams, who played from 2017-2019 with the Jets before playing four seasons with the Seahawks. "They drafted me. I mean, the Jets is tatted on me, man. It's part of my story. My father was drafted to the Giants, I was drafted to the Jets. My mom is from Yonkers, New York, and I have a lot of family up here. I still have my house there. It is still home.
"I am not making it bigger than what it is. I have a lot of respect for everybody over there. I am looking forward to the opportunity."
-Titans receiver DeAndre Hopkins does not appear on the team's Injury Report after being a limited participant during practices leading up to the Bears game because of a knee injury.
Hopkins, who played just 17 snaps in the opener, is good to go.
"Still be mindful of what we're asking as he gets in shape and starts to feel better and better," Coach Brian Callahan said of Hopkins, and his health. "But yeah, I see his role increasing. His role in practice, (he) should practice more, role should increase. Should feel a lot better about where he's at this Sunday versus last."
-Guard Dillon Radunz, who suffered a bruised rib in the opener, was a full participant on Wednesday.
-Linebacker Otis Reese, who missed the opener with a concussion, was a full participant on Wednesday.
-The Jets released their first Injury Report on Wednesday, and it looked like this: DL Javon Kinlaw (NIR-Personal) did not practice. CB Michael Carter (ankle) and CB D.J. Reed (knee) were both limited in today's practice. DL Michael Clemons (tricep), safety Ashtyn Davis (ankle) and WR Michael Williams (knee) were full participants.
-I wrote a separate story on Titans quarterback Will Levis on Wednesday.

-The Titans promoted defensive lineman James Lynch to the team's active roster earlier on Wednesday.
Lynch, initially signed to the team's practice squad, was a gameday elevation for the Titans in Sunday's opener vs the Bears. He logged seven snaps in the contest.
The 6-foot-4-inch, 295-pounder originally entered the league as a fourth-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2020. He played in 37 games with three starts during his first three seasons in Minnesota (2020-22), totaling 53 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks.
-Also on Wednesday, the Titans added outside linebacker Kyron Johnson to the team's practice squad.
Johnson, who played in college at Kansas, was a sixth-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2022 NFL Draft. In addition to the Eagles, he's also spent time with the Steelers. He's played in 22 career NFL games. As a rookie with the Eagles (2022), he played 16 games and tallied seven special teams stops.
As a three-time captain at Kansas, Johnson totaled 193 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, five passes defensed and three fumble recoveries and17 special teams stops in 57 career games.
