It's Colts Week: Quick Hits on the Titans After Thursday's Practice

10-10-24-quick-hits

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Indianapolis Colts.

Here's a look at today's developments:

-Titans quarterback Will Levis was a full participant in practice for the second day in a row.

Levis, who injured his throwing shoulder in last Monday's game at Miami, said on Wednesday he's been working in rehab and on the practice field to get ready to return to action.

"I'm going to push myself to play in whatever state that I'm in," Levis said. "It's going to be hard for myself to take myself out, but I've got to be smart throughout the week and feel it out and see how I feel, and not put myself or my team in jeopardy.

"But I'm fighting like hell to get out there on Sunday."

Now, more Titans injury updates:

-Safety Jamal Adams (hip) did not practice for the second day in a row.

-Receiver Treylon Burks, who missed Wednesday's practice after his wife, Shelby, gave birth to a baby girl, returned to practice.

Burks spoke to reporters after Thursday's session.

-DL Keondre Coburn (knee) did not practice for the second day in a row.

-DL Jeffery Simmons (elbow) was a full participant after being limited in practice on Wednesday.

-CB L'Jarius Sneed (NIR-Rest) was a full participant after being limited in Wednesday's practice.

-LB Ernest Jones (elbow) was a full participant in practice for the second straight day.

-LB Cedric Gray, designated for return from Injured Reserve earlier in the week, was a full participant for the second straight day.

Gray, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, spoke to reporters after today's session.

-Tackle John Ojukwu, waived from the roster earlier in the week, was back on the practice field after being signed to the team's practice squad. The Titans waived defensive back Anthony Kendall from the practice squad to make room for Ojukwu.

-The Colts released their second Injury Report of the week on Thursday, and it looked like this: WR Josh Downs (toe), WR Michael Pittman (back), CN Kenny Moore (hip/shoulder) and RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) did not practice. DE Kwity Paye (quadricep) was limited in practice. RB Trey Sermon (collarbone), T Braden Smith (knee/ankle), QB Anthony Richardson (oblique) and C Ryan Kelly (neck) were all full participants.
