It's Bills Week: Quick Hits After Wednesday's Titans Practice

QuickHits-(1)

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game at the Buffalo Bills.

Here's a look at today's developments:

-Titans receiver Calvin Ridley on Wednesday admitted his emotions got the best of him in the locker room on Sunday.

Following the team's loss to the Colts, Ridley expressed some frustration about not getting more targets earlier in the game.

Asked about it on Wednesday, he said he's on the same page with his head coach, and teammates.

"We are a good team, and we should be winning, that's how I feel," Ridley said. "Emotions came out. But I believe in my team, myself, my coaches, everything.

"I just want to help us win, that's all."

Ridley has just nine catches for 141 yards this season, with one touchdown.

Earlier on Wednesday, Coach Brian Callahan said he talked to Ridley, and said he understands Ridley's frustration, but he loves his passion, and he loves how he practices, and plays.

"My message to him was simple," Callahan said. "(I told him): I understand the frustration, and I'm doing everything I can to continue to keep you going and get you active early in games, late in games, whenever that may be. … I sure as heck want him to be a huge part of what we're doing."

Ridley said he understands where Callahan is coming from, and it sounded like he regretted sounding off.

"That's why I was frustrated with myself," Ridley said. "That's what is he trying to do, for sure."

"I think I was more frustrated about losing and not really helping in the beginning or anything," Ridley added. "I wasn't frustrated with the coaches, players or anything. I just want to help us lose if we're going to lose. You know what I'm saying? That's all I was trying to say. ... When you're frustrated, it just comes out. I was mad, but I wasn't frustrated at my teammates or anything. I was frustrated with losing. I want to win. I want to be a part of winning. We've got a good team. We should be winning. That's how I feel. Emotions came out. But I believe in my team and myself, my coaches and everything. I want to help us win, and that's all."

-The Titans released their first Injury Report of the week on Wednesday.

-Quarterback Will Levis was listed as a limited participant with his right shoulder injury.

Levis said he continues to rehab the shoulder, with hopes that he can work his way closer to 100 percent this season.

-Running back Joshua Kelley, signed to the team's practice squad on Tuesday, practiced with the team for the first time on Wednesday.
