NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for the season opener on Sunday vs the Chicago Bears.
Here's a look at today's developments:
-Titans receiver DeAndre Hopkins practiced for the second straight day on Thursday.
Hopkins returned to the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since July 31.
While standing in front of his locker after practice, Hopkins was asked about speculation that he won't be available on Sunday.
"I don't watch reports, I just go out and practice," Hopkins said. "I guess we'll see on Sunday."
Hopkins, who missed all three preseason contests with a knee injury, was listed as limited on the team's Injury Report for the second day in a row.
Hopkins said his rehab from the injury helped put him in a position to return to practice, and start the process of returning.
"I think it's put me in a great position," Hopkins said. "This organization trusted me to go to California and rehab with some experienced people, with guys who deal with this injury all the time. So, just taking it day by day. But I feel great."
-Safety Jamal Adams was the only Titan who did not practice again on Thursday.
Adams is dealing with a hip injury.
-Linebacker Otis Reese was limited in practice for the second day in a row as he recovers from a concussion.
-The Bears released their second version of the Injury Report on Thursday, and it looked like this: WR Keenan Allen (heel), OL Kiran Amegadjie (quad), RB Roschon Johnson (toe), DL Zacch Pickens (groin), DL Montez Sweat (toe) and DL DeMarcus Walker (groin) were all limited participants on Thursday. OL Ryan Bates (shoulder) was a full participant. TE Marcedes Lewis (NIR-Rest) did not practice.
-I chatted with offensive linemen Peter Skoronski and JC Latham in the locker room after practice.
