Evan Tatum from Portland, Tennessee
Question: Hey Jim. Maybe you've been asked this already, but what's the RG competition looking like right now? Is there a clear-cut favorite to win it after OTA's, or is it still anyone's job to win?
Jim: Hi Evan. Hard to say on whether there's a clear-cut favorite before seeing one padded practice. This will be a competition. I've said in here previously I've liked the looks of Saahdiq Charles, and think he has a great chance to win the job. But Dillon Radunz and Daniel Brunskill, who has worked a lot at center this offseason as Lloyd Cushenberry's back-up, will also be in the mix.
Patrick Keeley from Aurora, Illinois
Question: Hey Jim, I hope you're doing well. I have 3 questions for you and thanks for sharing the snapshot of the progress of the new stadium. 1) What will become of the original stadium? Parking lot? 2) By the looks of what I see, things look cramped and take it people can only enter the stadium from the sides?
3) to make good use of Willis could he play a slash role like Kordell?
Jim: Hi Patrick. The current stadium will eventually be torn down, and developed as part of a new East Bank. There will be plenty of entry points around the new stadium, which is going to be spectacular. We'll see what happens with Malik. He needs to make the team first, and then coaches can decide about whether they'll put in special packages for him. This seems to be a popular topic every year.
James Dugger from Fort Worth, Texas
Question: Hey Jim. I'm a lifelong fan of the Titans and my family moved to Tennessee from Texas in '97 while they were already Oilers fans. Love the work you do for the boys! Now to my question, for a wedding gift, my groomsmen said they will fly my wife and to any game of my choice this season. Which game do you think would be the best one for us to go to? Home or away? I've been to LA once, and loved the road trip, but there is something different about watching a game at Nissan. I'd love to hear your input!
Jim: Hey James. This is a tough one. There's something special about cheering for your team in its own stadium, around fans of the team. I'm a Dodgers fans. I've made the drive to Atlanta, St. Louis and Cincinnati many times since they're all less than a 4 ½ drive from Nashville. But now, most of the time when I see them, I make the trip to LA so I can see them at Dodger Stadium. It's just a lot more fun. So, there's that – and Nashville is tough to beat for a celebration. But if you're getting a free trip out of it, I'd go to Miami for Monday Night Football and make a long weekend out of it.
Mark Combs from Chesnee, South Carolina
Question: Is there any chance we'll see more Columbia Blue in the Titans uniforms. I heard a rumor that the Titans were able to prevent the Texans from using Columbia Blue in their uniforms. Why prevent it if we are not using it? I do not like the navy uniforms. I've always thought that Columbia Blue should be the main color, with red and navy accents. The Oiler throwback uniforms are clearly better. That's just my opinion.
P.S. Thank you for all the hard work you do. It is appreciated.
Jim: Hey Mark. The plan is to break out the Columbia blues again this season. In fact, you may see them a couple of times.
Nathan Moon from Lugoff, South Carolina
Question: What are the real expectations for the team this year?
Jim: It depends on who you ask, Nathan. The team will prepare to win every game.
Have a great weekend everyone!
