Bill Holmes from Fairport, New York
Question: As always, thank you for this forum and my best to you and your family. Hope to get to Nashville this year and shake your hand.
Question - How much pressure do you think Treylon Burks is under this year?
D-Hop, Ridley and Boyd (aided by the familiarity with our new regime) are likely ahead of him in the depth chart, and NW-I is a fighter. Many look at Burks as a failure because expectations were so high from college, *and* he was unfairly tagged as the replacement for AJ Brown (whom, to be fair, no one could "replace"). But 661 yards and one TD in 2 years from a first round pick speaks volumes, even considering the injuries. Is 2024 possibly his last shot to remain a Titan?
Jim: Hey Bill. I feel like every player in the NFL is under pressure, whether it's a rookie trying to find his way and earn a spot/playing time, or a veteran trying to hold on to his job with young guns gunning for it. Treylon was a first-round pick, now heading into Year 3 with improved group around him. He's going to have to earn his opportunities, and make the most of them. D-Hop is in Year 12, still motivated to be his best and to put himself him a position to keep his career alive for years to come. Calvin Ridley got a big contract, with something to prove himself. Boyd was signed to fill a role and now he has to get up to speed. I could give you a reason why every player on the team, and the NFL, feels pressure on them, Treylon included. But yeah, I think even Treylon knows he needs to step up.

Question: Hi Jim. Now that the Vrabel/Henry departure shock has settled down its good to see that we have the makings of a good team even 1 or 2 of the talking heads agree.
My question however is along the lines of the left field question: Who's got the biggest trotters in the team?
Jim: Hey John. Yeah, it's been weird seeing Derrick Henry in a Ravens uniform during OTAs this week. Someone told me Vrabel was spotted coming out of the Golf Galaxy in Brentwood a week or so ago.
The biggest trotters? I understand that's slang in the UK for feet. 😃
The answer: JC Latham, size 17.
Charles Glanker III from Alexander, Arkansas
Question: I'd like to know when the preseason times are announced so I could consider a hotel for the 49ers game.
Jim: All the preseason dates and times were announced last week, Charles.
Here's the info:
Saturday, August 10 – vs San Francisco 49ers, 6 p.m., WKRN
Saturday, August 17 – vs Seattle Seahawks, 6 p.m., WKRN
Sunday, August 25 – at New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m., WKRN

Question: Hello Jim. I hope this email finds you and your loved ones well. I know there's not a mailbag that goes by without you stating how the "National Media" & "Experts" have no bearing on how the Titans play, get notification, respect, etc. because the team has to earn it and win/ prove they deserve the praise. With that all being said, I've read an article in the past week to ten days and I can't remember who wrote it. But please tell me your HONEST thoughts on the 2024 Titans. The article states that all these Experts/ Analyst from all the companies out there have their opinion on the record for the team. The best I saw it of like 10-15 analyst was a 9-8 record and the next best was a 6-11 record. What's your prediction, and with ALL the changes made up to this point, as well as the changes still to come, where do you see the team record? Thanks for your time. Have a great week.
Jim: Hey Jason. I don't do predictions any longer. Working for the team, if I predicted 13-4, I'd be called a homer, and if I predicted 4-13 folks would say: Heck, this guy thinks they'll stink, and he works for the team. I'll leave the predictions to others, and my stance on what others think remains the same.

Question: Que tal Jim buena tarde como estss? Muchas gracias, Titans up
Gregg Allen from Fairview, Tennessee
Question: Will Colton Dowell make it since the Titans have signed all the new receivers? Thank you
Jim: Hi Gregg. Colton is still just months removed from a serious knee surgery, which included a torn ACL. His first priority right now is to get healthy. I'll be surprised if he's not on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start the season.
William Rupcich from Wonder Lake, Illinois
Question: Jim, I noticed that no one ever asks how you are doing during OTA's, training camp and the season. How you holding up? How do you feel about this upcoming season? Bern and I are looking forward to seeing you this season. #Titan up.
Jim: Hey William. Hope all is well. I'm doing great, counting down to some summer vacations, and then the season. Thanks for asking. I've been watching Andrew, and I see him getting better every day under the tutelage of Bill Callahan. I chatted with him the other day and was asking about you guys. I know you're fired up about that opener in Chicago. Hope to see the crew there in No.76 jerseys!
Have a great week everyone!
