NASHVILLE – The Titans completed an in-person interview on Tuesday with Colts Assistant General Manager Ed Dodds for the team's General Manager position.
The Titans previously conducted a virtual interview with Dodds over the weekend.
In-person interviews with other candidates will continue in the coming days.
Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk, President and CEO Burke Nihill, President of Football Operations Chad Brinker, head coach Brian Callahan and others on the team's football staff are among those involved in the in-person interviews at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park.
Dodds is in his eighth season with the Colts, and his 22nd in the NFL. He's in his seventh season as Assistant GM in Indianapolis.
Prior to joining the Colts, Dodds spent 10 seasons (2007-2016) with the Seattle Seahawks.
Prior to that, Dodds served as Seattle's senior personnel executive and was responsible for evaluating both college and pro talent. He's also spent time with the Raiders and his alma mater, Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Last Tuesday, Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk made the decision to part ways with general manager Ran Carthon, who was hired prior to the 2023 season.
Along with Dodds, the Titans previously conducted first-round virtual interviews with Dolphins Senior Personnel Executive Reggie McKenzie, former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff, Buccaneers Assistant General Manager John Spytek, Seahawks Senior Director of Player Personnel Matt Berry, Bills Director of Player Personnel Terrance Gray, Browns Assistant GM & VP of Football Operations Catherine Hickman, Bears Assistant General Manager Ian Cunninghan, Chiefs Assistant GM Mike Borgonzi and Packers Vice President of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan.
