NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans reached terms Sunday on a multi-year contract with long snapper Beau Brinkley, who has started all 48 games since joining the club as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
Brinkley played in all 16 games for the third consecutive season in 2014, tying for third on the club with a career-high 10 special teams tackles. He added six special teams tackles in each of his first two season from 2012-13.
As a rookie in 2012, the 6-foot-4, 248-pound Brinkley won the team's long snapper job, and his consistency has since helped Brett Kern set franchise records in both gross and net punting average.
Brinkley's signing comes a day after the Titans agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with Kern.
The NFL's free agency period begins Tuesday at 4 p.m., ET.
