NASHVILLE – The Titans have added outside linebacker Tarell Basham to the team's 53-man roster.
Basham, formerly with the Dallas Cowboys, was a third-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2017 NFL Draft who is in his sixth season.
In 77 career games, including 18 starts, Basham (6-4, 266) has tallied 123 tackles, 11 sacks, one interception and seven passes defensed while playing with Indianapolis (2017-18), the New York Jets (2018-20) and Dallas (2021-22).
In 2021 with the Cowboys, Basham tallied 39 tackles (three for loss), 3.5 sacks and 11 QB hits in 17 games, with six starts.
He appeared in just two games for Dallas this season before being waived on November 29. Basham began the season as a reserve pass-rusher and played against the Bucs in Week 1 before suffering an injury that sidelined him for the next seven games.
Basham played in college at Ohio, where he was the 2016 MAC Defensive Player of the Year after recording a school-record 29.5 sacks.
To make room for Basham on the roster, the Titans placed receiver Cody Hollister on Injured Reserve.
