NASHVILLE – The Titans on Friday officially added left tackle Taylor Lewan to their 53-man roster, clearing the way for his return on Sunday vs. the Buffalo Bills.
To make room, the Titans placed running back David Fluellen on Injured Reserve.
Fluellen missed practice on Friday for the third straight day because of a knee injury. He played in the season opener against the Browns, and after being inactive two weeks in a row, he returned to action against the Falcons.
Lewan, a three-time Pro Bowler, was suspended for the first four games of the season but he returned to Saint Thomas Sports Park on Monday and began practicing early in the week.
Lewan had been on the commissioner's exempt list.
The Titans face the Bills on Sunday at noon at Nissan Stadium.
