NASHVILLE – The Titans made a number of roster moves on Saturday leading up to Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.
Among them: Receiver/return man Kalif Raymond has been placed on the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Also on Saturday:
-The Titans elevated outside linebacker Brooks Reed and offensive lineman Daniel Munyer from the practice squad for Sunday's game, while also activating linebacker Wyatt Ray from the practice squad as a COVID replacement. All three players will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.
-The Titans signed linebacker Nate Orchard to the team's practice squad. Orchard, a second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2015, has spent time with seven different teams, including the Browns, Bills, Chiefs, Dolphins, Seahawks, Washington Football Team and the Texans. In 46 career games, with 13 starts, the 6-foot-3, 251-pound Orchard has six sacks, 84 tackles, 16 quarterback hits, six passes defensed and one interception.
-The Titans placed receiver Cody Hollister on the team's practice squad Reserve/COVID-19 list, while removing punter Trevor Daniel from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The new reserve list category was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. If a player falls into either of these categories, his club is required to immediately place the player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Per agreed upon NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs are not permitted to comment on player's medical status other than referring to roster status. Clubs may not disclose whether player is in quarantine or is positive for COVID-19.
Kickoff for Sunday's game at Nissan Stadium is at noon CST.
