NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with OLB/DE Jamal Davis II, who will provide additional depth and competition during training camp during his bid to make the roster.

Davis (6-4, 240) spent time on Tennessee's practice squad during the 2019 season.

Davis played collegiately at Akron, where he started all 12 games at defensive end in 2018 and he finished third overall with 82 tackles, a team-best 16.0 TFL for a loss of 72 yards, a team-best six break-ups, a team-best six hurries, four sacks, and a forced fumble. At the NFL Combine, Davis ran the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds, and he had a 39-inch vertical leap.

After not being selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent. After being waived, Davis spent time on the practice squads of the Titans and Colts before signing with the Dolphins, where he made his NFL debut in a December and ended up playing in three games last season.

Davis spent nearly two months on the practice squad of the Titans last year.

Earlier this week, the Titans signed linebacker Wyatt Ray just days after waiving/injured linebacker Reggie Gilbert and placing linebacker Vic Beasley on the team's Non-Football Injury list.
