NASHVILLE – The Titans on Thursday activated right guard Nate Davis from the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Linebacker Jayon Brown, defensive lineman Denico Autry, tackle Kendall Lamm, receiver Julio Jones, defensive back Buster Skrine, outside linebacker Bud Dupree and receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are on the team's COVID list, along with two players from the practice squad -- receiver Cody Hollister and defensive back Briean Boddy-Calhoun.
Also, defensive back Caleb Farley was also activated from the COVID list, but he remains on Injured Reserve.
The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. If a player falls into either of these categories, his club is required to immediately place the player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Also on Thursday, the Titans signed offensive lineman Paul Adams and defensive back Shyheim Carter to the team's practice squad.
Adams (6-5, 317) re-joins the Titans, where he spent time on their practice squad in 2020 and during the 2021 training camp. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent in 2019 with Cleveland. He also spent time in Washington and Kansas City. Adams played his college football at Missouri.
Carter (6-0, 194, sha-HEEM) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the New York Jets in 2020. He also spent time with Atlanta and Houston. As a college player at Alabama, he tallied 101 tackles, three interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), 18 passes defensed and two forced fumbles in 50 games played for the Crimson Tide.
The Titans return to action on Sunday, January 2 against the Dolphins at Nissan Stadium.
