NASHVILLE – The Titans are bringing back a familiar face at the start of training camp – defensive back Joshua Kalu.
The Titans have agreed to terms with Kalu, who played in 28 games from 2018-2020 with the team. Kalu signed with the Giants last offseason, but an injury in the preseason ended his season.
Over his three seasons with the Titans, Kalu tallied 26 tackles, one pass defensed, 15 special teams stops and one blocked field goal.
Also on Saturday, the Titans waived safety Rodney Clemons.
Additionally, the Titans placed three players on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list at the start of camp:
-Linebacker Monty Rice.
-Tight end Tommy Hudson.
-Kicker Caleb Shudak.
A player who, as a result of football-related injuries, is unable to take part in training camp practices may be assigned to the active/PUP list at the start of camp. Players can then be moved off the PUP list to the active roster at any time prior to the start of the regular season, even after one practice.
