NEW ORLEANS – Derrick Henry felt the love from Titans fans from afar during the 2024 season.

Here at Super Bowl LIX, Henry said the feeling remains mutual.

"Of course I'll always have love for Titans fans," Henry said. "And I appreciate the ones still cheering for me, even though I'm in a different uniform, on a different team now. From what I saw and heard, there were people in Tennessee still showing me love, and I definitely appreciate it."

Henry, who joined the Baltimore Ravens after playing his first eight seasons in Tennessee, was at NFL Honors on Thursday night.

In an interview on the Red Carpet, Henry said he's enjoying his time with the Ravens, his biggest disappointment coming in the fact his new team won't be playing in this year's Super Bowl after getting knocked out in the playoffs.

Henry ran for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns with the Ravens after racking up 9,502 yards and 90 touchdowns from 2016 to 2023 in Tennessee, who selected him in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Henry was among the finalists for the Offensive Player of the Year award at NFL Honors.

"It was a fun year," Henry said of his first year with the Ravens. "I'm grateful for the season, but we came up a little bit short after winning the division, and that is what replays in my head, and it will until next season. I look forward to next season."

With a smile, Henry said he was aware of the popular debate some have discussed in Nashville since his departure:

Can you really be a Titans fan and cheer for the Ravens, simply because of Derrick Henry?

No matter what, it's all love, Henry said.

"I saw some of it," Henry said with a smile. "I appreciate the ones who are still rooting for me. And I always appreciate the love. There is love back from me, and there always will be. My time in Tennessee was special, and I have love for anybody who is still rooting for me and wants to see me do well."

From afar, Henry said he's kept up with the happenings in Tennessee, but his focus now is on the Ravens, and trying to help them get to the Super Bowl.

"I always wish them the best," Henry said of the Titans. "There's nothing but love on my end."
