Raekwon McMillan

PRO: The Titans signed Raekwon McMillan to the practice squad late in the 2024 season to add toughness and experience to the inside linebacker position. The 6-foot-2-inch, 250-pounder entered the NFL as a second-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2017. He spent his first three seasons with the club before being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020. The Ohio State product has spent the last three seasons as a member of the New England Patriots.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2018, McMillan registered a career-high 105 tackles, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a pass defensed with the Dolphins.

• McMillan was named after rapper Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Hinesville, Ga., native was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the second round (54th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft.
• Traded by the Dolphins along with a 2021 fifth-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders for a 2021 fourth-round pick on Aug. 29, 2020.
• Signed by the New England Patriots as an unrestricted free agent on March 19, 2021.
• Released by the Patriots on Nov. 8, 2024.
• Signed by the Titans to their practice squad on Dec. 24, 2024.

COLLEGE:
• Played in 41 career games with 26 starts at Ohio State and totaled 270 tackles, six sacks, one interception, 10 passes defensed and two forced fumbles. Led the team in tackles in each of his two seasons as a starter (2015-16).
• As a junior (2016), named team captain and started all 13 games. Posted 102 tackles, two sacks, four passes defensed and two forced fumbles. Earned second-team All-America honors and was named first-team All-Big Ten.
• As a sophomore (2015), started all 13 games and totaled 119 tackles, 1.5 sacks and four passes defensed. His 119 tackles were the most by a sophomore at the school since 1990. Earned second-team All-America honors and was named first-team All-Big Ten.
• As a freshman (2014), played in all 15 games and posted 49 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception and two passes defensed en route to the Big Ten title and a national championship.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Liberty County (Ga.) High School and was a four-year starter at linebacker and running back. Totaled 456 career tackles and 10 forced fumbles and was the Butkus Award winner as the nation's top prep linebacker.
• As a senior, posted 159 tackles and 8.5 sacks to go with nearly 700 rushing yards.
• Earned Savannah Morning News Player of the Year honors as a junior and senior.
