Biography

PRO: The Titans signed safety Quandre Diggs during their 2024 training camp to bring experience and veteran saavy to the defensive backfield. The 5-foot-9-inch, 197-pounder was originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2015 NFL Draft before being traded to the Seattle Seahawks during the 2019 campaign. Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the three-time Pro Bowl selection registered 574 tackles, 24 interceptions, 56 passes defensed, 15 stops for loss, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in nine NFL seasons.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2022, Diggs was selected to the Pro Bowl for the third straight season after registering four interceptions and becoming the only player in the NFL to record at least three interceptions in each of the previous six seasons (2017-22).
• In 2021, Diggs tied career-high with five interceptions for the second-straight year while being named to back-to-back Pro Bowls.
• In 2020, Diggs was named to his first career Pro Bowl after tying for fourth in the NFL with a career-high five interceptions while adding a career-best 10 passes defensed.

TITANS TIDBITS:
• Quandre's half-brother, Quentin Jammer, was a three-year starter and All-American defensive back at Texas (1997-98, 2000, 01) and played for the Denver Broncos in 2013 after 11 seasons with the San Diego Chargers (2002-12).

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Houston, Texas, native was selected by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round (200th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.
• Traded by the Lions to the Seattle Seahawks along with a 2021 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2020 fifth-round pick on Oct. 22, 2019.
• Released by the Seahawks on March 5, 2024.
• Signed by the Titans as a free agent on Aug. 6, 2024.

COLLEGE:
• Spent four seasons at Texas and played in 52 career games with 49 starts at cornerback. Ended his career tied for ninth on the Texas all-time list for interceptions (11), while his 37 career passes defensed also tied for ninth in school history. Earned All-Big 12 honors three times (2011, 2013, 2014) while starting 48 of his final 49 games. Did not miss a game in his Texas career.
• As a senior (2014), earned first-team All-Big 12 honors from ESPN and was a second-team pick by the Associated Press and the league's coaches. Was invited to the 2015 Senior Bowl following his final season at Texas after he finished with a career-high 73 total tackles, two sacks, three interceptions, five pass defensed and one forced fumble in 13 starts.
• As a junior (2013), played in all 13 games with 12 starts as the team's cornerback/nickel. Ranked first on the team with 10 pass defensed on his way to honorable mention All-Big 12 honors.
• As a sophomore (2012), tied for sixth in the Big 12 with four interceptions. Led the team in interceptions (four) and pass defensesd (seven) and tied for fourth on the team in solo stops (39).
• As a freshman (2011), named the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. Also earned second-team All-Big 12 honors from the conference's coaches and honorable mention honors from the Associated Press. Tied a freshmen school record with his team-high four interceptions to go along with 51 tackles, 15 pass defensed and two forced fumbles.
• Earned a bachelor's degree in physical culture and sports with a minor in social work from Texas and was a member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor roll in 2013.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Angleton (Texas) High School where he was a two-time all-state and four-time all-district selection at multiple positions. Invited to play in the 2011 Under Armour All-American Game and was a member of ESPNU's top 150 national prospects.
• Was a four-year starter at Angleton and finished his career with 8,265 all-purpose yards and 83 touchdowns on offense, rushing for 4,409 yards and 58 touchdowns, passing for 1,938 yards and 11 touchdowns and
catching 10 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, totaled 237 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, six sacks,10 interceptions, 52 pass breakups, 11 forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, seven blocked kicks and returned four interceptions for scores.
• Also lettered three years in track and was a two-year letterman in basketball.
