Leroy Watson IV

PRO: The Titans acquired Leroy Watson IV via trade during the 2024 offseason to bolster the depth along the offensive front. Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the 6-foot-5-inch, 310-pounder appeared as a reserve in seven games with the Cleveland Browns in 2023. The University of Texas-San Antonio product spent his entire rookie campaign as a member of the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. Watson entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Atlanta Falcons and he has also spent time with the New England Patriots.

• The Snellville, Ga., native was signed by the Atlanta Falcons as a rookie free agent on May 2, 2022.
• Waived by the Falcons on Aug. 30, 2022.
• Signed by the New England Patriots to their practice squad on Sept. 1, 2022 before being released after a few days.
• Signed by the San Francisco 49ers to their practice squad on Sept. 5, 2022.
• Signed by the 49ers to a future's contract on Jan. 31, 2023.
• Waived by the 49ers on Aug. 29, 2023 and signed to the team's practice squad the next day.
• Signed by the Cleveland Browns to their active roster from the 49ers' practice squad on Nov. 2, 2023.
• Traded by the Browns to the Titans in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick on April 12, 2024.

COLLEGE:
• Appeared in 37 games during his three seasons (2019-21) at Texas-San Antonio after transferring from Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College where he spent two seasons (2017-18).
• As a super senior (2021), started all 13 games at tight end at UTSA and registered seven receptions for 65 yards with a touchdown while helping pave the way for school records in total yards (6,146), passing yards (3,577) and points scored (516).
• As a senior (2020), named honorable mention All-Conference USA at tight end after appearing in 12 games with 11 starts for the Roadrunners and recording 14 catches for 176 yards.
• As a junior (2019), played in 12 games with 10 starts at UTSA and finished with four receptions for 56 yards with a score.
• As a sophomore (2018), earned first-team All-Jayhawk Conference honors at Hutchinson CC after catching six passes for 88 yards with a touchdown.
• As a freshman (2017), collected honorable mention all-conference accolades for Hutchinson after posting six receptions for 51 yards with a touchdown.
• Graduated with a bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies from University of Texas-San Antonio in May 2021.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Shiloh (Snellville, Ga.) High School where he was a two-way standout at tight end and defensive end.
