Biography

PRO: The Titans selected Alabama's JC Latham with the seventh overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-6-inch, 342-pound offensive lineman brings elite power, playing strength and violent hands to his position. A two-year starter at right tackle, Latham is expected to make the transition to left tackle in the NFL, a position he played in high school. A native of Oak Creek, Wis., Latham ended his Crimson Tide career with 27 consecutive starts at right tackle.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 27 starts at Alabama, Latham allowed only four sacks during his collegiate career while tallying 60 knockdown blocks.

• Latham enrolled at IMG Academy intending to play defensive line, but injuries to three teammates forced him to move to offensive line two weeks before the start of his junior season.
• One of Latham's talents off the field his cooking. He believes 'no one can make your food the way you like it better than you.' His go-to dish is hot honey jerk chicken over rice and mac and cheese.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Oak Creek, Wis., native was selected by the Titans in the first round (seventh overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft.

COLLEGE:
• Latham played in 41 games with 27 consecutive starts at right tackle for Alabama over three seasons (2021-23). He was selected as a second-team All-American his junior season as well as All-SEC first team. Began his collegiate career as a key reserve before earning the starting right tackle role.

AS A JUNIOR (2023), selected as a second team All-American and All-SEC first team after starting all 13 games at right tackle. He recorded 41 knockdown blocks across 813 snaps for an average of 3.2 per contest. Allowed just two sacks in 408 pass sets. Was selected as the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week following his play against Arkansas which saw him open holes for 177 rushing yards and 238 yards through the air, while not allowing a single sack, pressure or quarterback hit.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022), started all 13 games at right tackle and recorded 29 knockdown blocks on the year. Was part of a line that blocked for the No. 4 scoring offensive (41.1 ppg), No. 11 total offense (477.1 ypg), No. 19 passing offense (281.6 ypg) and the No. 36 rushing attack (195.5 ypg).

AS A TRUE FRESHMAN (2021), appeared in 14 games as a key reserve for the Alabama offensive front as a right guard. Saw significant action on the Crimson Tide's PAT and field goal units on special teams.
• Graduated with a degree in communications for the University of Alabama in 2024.

PERSONAL:
• Finished his high school career as the nation's top-ranked offensive lineman by all major outlets. Was a unanimous five-star prospect, the nation's No. 2 prospect overall and the No. 1 offensive lineman on the 247Composite.Garnered offers from nearly every major program including Louisiana State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Wisconsin before committing to Alabama.
• Began his high school career at Catholic Memorial (Oak Creak, Wis.) where he was primarily a defensive lineman, helping the Crusaders to a 13-1 record and the Wisconsin Division 2 state championship as a sophomore.
• Started practicing on the offensive line during the playoff run and got his first game action at offensive tackle during a historic come from behind win in the title game after trailing 24-0 in the second half.
• Transferred to IMG Academy for his final two years of high school where he earned the starting job at left tackle his junior year. As a senior, he was named first team All-State and Under Armour All-American.
