Biography

PRO: The Titans signed Geron Christian Sr. late in the 2024 offseason to provide depth and experience to the offensive tackle position. The 6-foot-5-inch, 315-pounder originally entered the NFL as a third-round draft pick in 2018. Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the Louisville product saw action in 58 regular season games with 25 starts in six NFL seasons with Washington, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns. Christian Sr. also spent time with the Miami Dolphins. The majority of his NFL action has been at left tackle but he has the ability to play the right side as well.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Christian Sr. helped the Cleveland Browns secure back-to-back playoff appearances in 2023 by starting the final nine games at left tackle and protecting the blindside of Joe Flacco en route to 6-3 finish to the season.

• Christian Sr. has been coached by Titans offensive line coach Bill Callahan at two other spots during his six seasons in the NFL. He was drafted by Washington in 2018 when Callahan was with the club and the two spent time together in Cleveland in 2023.

Spent another contest on the Texans' practice squad before being released on Oct. 10. Signed by the Browns to their practice squad on Oct. 31 and spent one game in that capacity before being elevated to the Browns' active roster on Nov. 7. Started the final nine regular season contests and the wild card playoff matchup at left tackle for the Browns.

2022 (10/0 - Kansas City; 0/0, 0/0 - Miami): Saw action as a reserve in 10 games with the Chiefs. Was inactive for six other contests with the Chiefs. Released by the Chiefs on Jan. 4 and claimed off waivers by the Dolphins on Jan. 5. Dressed but did not play in the regular season finale and the wild card matchup with the Dolphins.

2021 (14/8 - Houston): Played in 14 games with eight starts at left tackle in his first season with the Texans. Dressed but did not play three contests.
• Against L.A. Rams (10/31), started at left tackle and helped protect Davis Mills, who passed for 310 yards against the eventual Super Bowl champion Rams.
• Against L.A. Chargers (12/26), started at left tackle and opened holes for Rex Burkhead to rush for 149 yards in a victory.

2020 (6/6 - Washington): Started six games at left tackle in his third season. Was inactive for three contests. Placed on injured reserve on Nov. 19 and missed the last seven games of the season.
• Against Baltimore (10/4), started at left tackle and helped protect Dwayne Haskins, who threw for 314 yards and posted a 90.4 passer rating.

2019 (16/2 - Washington): Played in all 16 games with two starts – one at left tackle and one as an extra tight end.
• Against New England (10/6), made his first career start as an extra tight end.
• Against Detroit (11/24), started at left tackle for the fist time in his NFL career.

2018 (2/0 - Washington): Saw action as a reserve in two games as a rookie. Was inactive for seven contests. Placed on injured reserve on Nov. 12 and missed the final seven games of the season.
• Against Atlanta (11/4), made his NFL debut as a reserve.

COLLEGE:
• Played at Louisville from 2015-17, starting all 39 games in which he appeared in his three seasons with the Cardinals. Following his junior campaign, Christian declared for the 2018 NFL Draft.
• As a junior (2017), started all 13 games and was an integral part in Louisville finishing third in the nation in total offense (544.9 yards per game) and 11th in the nation in scoring offense (38.1 points per game), ranking atop the ACC in both categories.
• As a sophomore (2016), was a third-team All-ACC selection after starting all 13 games and helping quarterback Lamar Jackson become Louisville's first Heisman Trophy winner and the youngest in the award's history.
• As a true freshman (2015), was an honorable mention All-ACC honoree after he was the lone offensive lineman to start all 13 games for the Cardinals.
• Majored in business at Louisville.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Trinity Catholic (Ocala, Fla.) High School, where he was a 3A all-state selection as a senior.
• Spent his first two years at Forest High School and his junior campaign at West Port High School, both in Ocala.
• Was a first-team Star-Banner all-county selection as a sophomore at Forest and was a second-team selection as a junior at West Port.
• Played tight end as a freshman at Forest and offensive line as junior at West Port.
• Also played basketball at Trinity Catholic, averaging 14 points per game and 13 rebounds per game.
• Son of Mary Ann Brown and Gerald Christian, Sr.
• His brother, Gerald Jr., played tight end at Louisville from 2013-14 and was the Mr. Irrelevant of the 2015 NFL Draft after being selected No. 256 overall by the Arizona Cardinals.
