Biography

PRO: The Titans signed cornerback Daryl Worley to the team's practice squad to add depth to the defensive back room after multiple injuries plagued the team. The 6-foot-1-inch, 210-pounder was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 90 games with seven different teams over seven seasons. Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the West Virginia product tallied 284 tackles, two sacks, five interceptions, 11 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, 40 passes defensed and eight special teams tackles.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2019, Worley started in all 15 games he appeared in with the Raiders, tallying 58 tackles, a tackle for loss, an interception and eight passes defensed.
• As a rookie in 2016, Worley appeared in 16 games with the Carolina Panthers and posted a career-high 87 tackles, a sack, two tackles for loss, an interception and nine passes defensed. His 87 tackles ranked third among all rookies in the league.

• Worley and his wife connected through a X hash tag for West Virginia University, in which they realized they were from the same area and planning to attend the same college. They began dating their freshman year at West Virginia.

COLLEGE:
• Spent three seasons (2013-15) at West Virginia where he played in 34 games with 27 starts and recorded 146 tackles, 10 interceptions, 21 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Earned All-Big 12 Conference honors in 2015. Ranked among the Mountaineers' team leaders in interceptions and passes defensed in all three seasons.
• As a junior (2015), played in 12 games with 11 starts, finishing seventh in the nation with a team- and single-season high six interceptions, while also leading the conference with 12 passes defensed. Added 49 tackles, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
• As sophomore (2014), started all 11 games and posted a career-high 52 tackles. Had three interceptions and four passes defensed en route to being named honorable mention All-Big 12. His three interceptions tied for the team lead.
• As a freshman (2013), played in 11 games with five starts and tallied 45 tackles, an interception and five passes defensed. His five passes defensed were the second most on the team.
• Majored in media at West Virginia.

PERSONAL:
• Prepped at William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, Pa.) High School where he played defensive back and wide receiver.
• Earned two first-team nominations as a wide receiver and one first-team honor as a defensive back. Was rated as Southeastern Pennsylvania's top cornerback by the The Philadelphia Inquirer coming out of high school.
• Married his wife, Sierra Simmons, during a backyard pandemic wedding in 2020. They have two daughters, Karsyn and Kamryn and one son, Kaiden, together.
