Biography
PRO: The Titans selected Chance Campbell in the sixth round (219th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He appeared in four games in 2023 after spending his entire rookie season on injured reserve. The 6-foot-2-inch, 232-pound defender possesses the aggressive instincts required to compete at the NFL level. Prior to being drafted by the Titans, the Ellicott City, Md., native played his final college season at Ole Miss (2021), where he started all 13 games and led the team with 109 tackles. He transferred to Ole Miss from Maryland, where he played three seasons (2018-20) and appeared in 25 games.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2023, Campbell saw the first action of his NFL career. He totaled two tackles and added a stop on special teams in four games.
• In 2021, Campbell led Mississippi with 109 tackles on the season, led the SEC and ranked third nationally with three fumble recoveries, and ranked second in the SEC with three forced fumbles.
TITANS TIDBITS:
• Prior to transferring to Mississippi, Campbell played three seasons at Maryland and was teammates with fellow 2022 draft pick Chig Okonkwo.
• Participated in Uplifting Athletes and Reps for Rare Diseases at the Combine, raising over $9,000 on the broad jump (10 feet, 7 inches). It was the most money raised of any participating player. He later highlighted the organization through the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative.
• Despite only being in Mississippi for six months, Campbell said the transfer was "fantastic" for him to get familiarized with uprooting and moving somewhere new. "I lived in Maryland my entire life, so going away to a new town and living off by yourself and being around new people and having to kind of re-establish yourself, those are all things that I'm going to have to do at the next level. I got a pretty good test run at it and I think that set me up pretty well."
• Campbell excelled at lacrosse in high school and initially visited Maryland for lacrosse prior to committing to football. He even entertained being a dual-sport athlete at Maryland.
• His younger brother, Trace, is a quarterback at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
• He is close friends with former Maryland teammate and current NFL running back Jake Funk.

• Waived by the Titans on Aug. 29, 2023 and signed to the team's practice squad a day later.
• Signed by the Titans to their active roster from the practice squad on Sept. 22, 2023.
• Waived by the Titans on Oct. 28, 2023 and signed to the team's practice squad two days later.

COLLEGE:
• In one season at Mississippi (2021), Campbell started all 13 games and led the team with 109 tackles. He added six sacks, 11 quarterback pressures, 12.5 tackles for loss, two passes defensed, three forced fumbles and led the SEC with three fumble recoveries while with the Rebels. Transferred to Mississippi from Maryland where he played three seasons (2018-20) and amassed 107 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, one interception, four passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 25 games.
• As a senior (2021), started all 13 games in his first season with the Rebels. Led the team with 109 tackles, and also posted six sacks, 11 quarterback pressures, 12.5 tackles for loss and two passes defensed. Led the SEC and ranked third nationally with three fumble recoveries, and ranked second in the SEC with three forced fumbles. Transferred to Mississippi from Maryland.
• As a junior (2020), saw action in five games and made four starts. Led the squad with 43 tackles and added 1.5 sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Earned All-Big Ten honorable mention recognition.
• As a sophomore (2019), played in 10 games and made two starts. Amassed 54 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, one interception, four passes defensed and one forced fumble.
• As a freshman (2018), saw action in 11 games and registered 10 tackles.
• Graduated from Maryland in 2021 with a degree in finance and pursued a master's degree in higher education at Mississippi.
PERSONAL:
• Attended Calvery Hall (Md.) High School where he was a consensus three-start recruit.
• Was a first-team All-MIAA A conference selection as a junior.
• Rated the 20th overall player in the state of Maryland by Rivals.
• Also played lacrosse and helped lead his team to a MIAA conference title as a junior.
• Son of Rick and Kati Campbell.
• Has two brothers and one sister.
