Young Misses Third Practice, Questionable vs. Eagles

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee quarterback Vince Young has missed a third straight practice with a sprained left knee and ankle and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Coach Jeff Fisher has said Young could start without practicing. Young sprained his knee and ankle in

Monday night's 30-3 win at Jacksonville when tackled as he recovered a fumbled snap.

"He did some things inside, and that's progress for us,'' Fisher said.

Young's mobility is the key to whether he can play against the Eagles (4-2) on Sunday. Either way, backup Kerry Collins said he is ready to start if needed for Tennessee (4-2). It would be his first start since Oct. 18, 2009, when the Titans lost 59-0 in New England, the last loss in an 0-6 start.

"I'm ready to go. I've a good week of practice and I'm entirely comfortable with what we're doing game-plan wise,'' Collins said.

Tight end Bo Scaife (groin) and defensive tackle Tony Brown (knee) did not practice. Both are questionable for Sunday. Receiver Kenny Britt was not at practice after an incident in a Nashville night club early Friday morning.

Receiver Justin Gage (left hamstring) and cornerback Jason McCourty (right forearm) both practiced fully and are questionable. Chris Johnson (thigh) and defensive tackle Jason Jones (shoulder) practiced fully and are probable.
