Many of you might know me from my days with The Tennessean.
Up until this week, the newspaper served as my home base for covering the Tennessee Titans over the past 16 seasons.
It was a memorable experience, beginning with the magical 1999 season that ended with a trip to Super Bowl XXXIV.
Over the years, I've covered every game at Nissan Stadium.
As of today, I'll be providing content here at www.titansonline.com after being hired as senior writer and editor for the team's official website earlier this month.
It's a great opportunity, and I'm excited about it.
My mission here will be the same as it was at the newspaper – to keep the fans informed, and up to speed with what's going on with their favorite football team.
Feature stories, practice reports, game stories and analysis will be a part of the coverage, in addition to a behind-the-scenes look at the team. I'll answer your questions in mailbags, and you can still easily find me on Twitter (@jwyattsports), Instagram (jwyattsports) and on Facebook.
In addition to writing about the Titans, I'll also work alongside "The Voice of the Titans", Mike Keith, and Titansonline.com's Amie Wells on a variety of Titans media platforms, including Titans All Access, Titans Radio, and both packaged reports and live productions for Titansonline.com.
I know fans are fired up about the start of the 2015 season.
I'm fired up about being on board here, and ready to get started.
