NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans were back on the field on Wednesday for the sixth practice of training camp at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

Here's a look at what stood out:

• Safety Johnathan Cyprien left practice early, and did not return. He walked to the locker room with trainers after suffering an injury. Safety Kendrick Lewis, who nearly had an interception in 7-on-7 work, also left practice early. During the latter portion of practice, Demontre Hurst was working with the first team, opposite Kevin Byard. Coach Mike Vrabel said the injured players would be evaluated, and had no update immediately after practice.
• Running back Derrick Henry looked good once again. On the first play of team drills he busted up the middle and into space. It was one of a number of nice runs by Henry on the day.
• Receiver Corey Davis showed up time and again, catching two touchdown passes in a red zone drill. On the day, Davis made catches downfield, and in tight coverage in the middle of the field. One of his catches would have gone for 30-plus yards. But Davis also let a catchable ball escape his grasp on a deep throw from quarterback Marcus Mariota. Cornerback Adoree' Jackson knocked the ball away when Davis tried to catch it after it went off his hands and into the air.

• It was a good day for cornerback Logan Ryan, who broke up a number of passes and was mostly solid in coverage. Ryan broke up a pass intended for tight end Delanie Walker in a red zone drill. Jackson was also around the ball a lot, and made plays.
• Linebacker Wesley Woodyard made back-to-back nice plays in a red zone drill in 7-on-7 work.
• Linebacker Jayon Brown was solid in his coverage while defending running back Dion Lewis on a play in the end zone. Brown has proven to be a tough guy to shake.
• Undrafted rookie receiver Deontay Burnett had a good day. He made a number of nice grabs, and late in practice busted into the open field for what would have been a big gain.
• Receiver Tajae Sharpe had a busy day, and he drew a crowd of reporters afterward.

• Receiver Michael Campanaro let a catchable ball escape his grasp, and he wasn't happy with himself as he headed toward the sideline. There, he crossed paths with left tackle Taylor Lewan, who was overheard saying: "What's wrong Camp? Need a hug?" Campanaro kept walking.
• Running back Akrum Wadley showed some niftiness on a few handoffs, and he managed to get into the end zone after making a catch late.
• Linebacker Tobenna Okeke got into the backfield for a sack on quarterback Luke Falk.
• Defensive lineman Du'Vonta Lampkin, signed on Tuesday, stuffed running back Dalyn Dawkins on a running play late in practice.
• Quarterback Blaine Gabbert connected with tight end Anthony Firkser on a pass in 7-on-7 drills, but linebacker Nate Palmer knocked the ball out near the goal line. Firkser has had a nice couple of days in camp, however.
• Offensive lineman Kevin Pamphile showed off his athleticism when blocking for tight end Jonnu Smith downfield. He got props from his coaches when he returned to the sideline.
• Tight end Ethan Wolf caught a touchdown pass on a ball thrown by Gabert, but he dropped one early.
• I noticed cornerback Jarell Carter making at least two nice plays in coverage.
• Receiver Taywan Taylor continues to show up in practices. He was active early, and a favorite target of the QBs in practice.
• Cornerback LeShaun Sims broke up a pass intended for receiver Nick Williams early.
• Linebacker Robert Spillane and cornerback Joshua Kalu stuffed ball carriers at the line of scrimmage on early runs.

• Former Titans linebacker Terry Killens, who was on the field for the Music City Miracle, worked Wednesday's practice as an official.
• Members of the team's Alumni attended practice, and watched from the sideline. The group included Albert Haynesworth, Derrick Mason, Brad Hopkins, Chris Hope, Kevin Long, Eugene Amano, Zach Piller, Patrick Bailey, Al Smith, and Tim Shaw.
• Cornerback Malcolm Butler, defensive lineman Jurrell Casey, and linebacker Brian Orakpo all missed practice. Vrabel said Butler and Casey just got a day off, and Orakpo continues to miss with the injury he suffered early in camp.
• Linebacker Rashaan Evans was not on the field, and Vrabel said he's not ready to practice. Evans has been attending meetings, however.
• Tight ends Jonnu Smith and Luke Stocker returned to the practice field.
• Receiver Rishard Matthews and Phillip Supernaw, who remain on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list, watched practice on the sideline.
• Members from NFL Network's team attended practice, and visited with Mariota, Henry and Lewan on set.
