NASHVILLE -- The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.
Here's a look at three quick hits from Wednesday:
Blasingame's Got Game
Titans fullback Khari Blasingame made a pair of catches in Sunday's win over the Raiders, including one that was featured on "You Got Mossed!" on Monday night on ESPN.
Hall of Fame receiver Randy Moss showed Blasingame making a sideline catch over Raiders linebacker Will Compton, and Moss called Blasingame Tennessee's "mystery man."
Blasingame, who played collegiately at Vanderbilt, was actually watching the segment when it came on TV.
"I turned on the pregame show and it just happened to be there," Blasingame said. "I looked up and I was like, "Wait a second.' I was like, that's pretty cool. … I watched Randy Moss as a kid, so it was cool to see that."
Blasingame, signed off Minnesota's practice squad last month, has been an asset for the Titans.
He had two catches for 47 yards against the Raiders, and also drew compliments from Titans coach Mike Vrabel for his contributions.
"The catches were cool," Vrabel said of Blasingame. "But the best thing is he had some really nice blocks. He went up there and stuck it up in there and kept his feet moving on contact. He was able to clear a path for Derrick (Henry)."
Blasingame said he's happy to do his part in the offense and on special teams.
"Simply put, it feels good to help the team," Blasingame said. "You come in and you want to help the team by doing your job, so it feels good to do that when your number is called."
New Addition, and the Next Challenge
Titans defensive lineman Jurrell Casey had a busy week leading up to Sunday's game vs. Oakland.
Casey's wife, Ryann, gave birth to the couple's second son on Friday, which is why he was excused from practices late in the week.
"Everything was great, but it's definitely been different with two in the house – a lot more noise," Casey said with a smile. "And now I've found out the older child needs a lot more attention. We already give him all the attention in the world but now he seems to want more. But it's all good."
Five-day-old Peighton Casey's name "stands for joy and rejoice," Casey said.
This Sunday, Casey will be focused on making Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson's life miserable.
"He's a smart player, and an instinctive guy, and he always seems to keep his eyes down the field," Casey said of Watson. "He can make big plays happen. On the field he is a cool guy and he is a guy you have to respect. He gets it done with his arm and his legs."
Injury Report
Running back Derrick Henry (hamstring), cornerback Adoree' Jackson (foot), Adam Humphries (ankle) and linebacker Daren Bates (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday.
Bates was on the practice field in uniform at the start, but left early.
Cornerback LeShaun Sims (ankle) was back in the practice field after missing back-to-back weeks of practice leading up to games against the Colts and Raiders. Sims was listed as limited, along with center Ben Jones (thumb), safety Kenny Vaccaro (concussion) and Casey (knee).
