Q: What do you think about all of the fan support the team has received on Titans Caravan?
WASHINGTON: I tell people all the time that Pittsburgh has a great fan base, but to come down south and meet some of the people that I've been meeting, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Q: How is the chemistry going with your new teammates?
WASHINGTON: It's going good. A lot of the guys are starting to warm up to me and we're joking around more than when I first stepped into the facility.
Q: Will you watch the draft and are you interested in who the team might pick?
WASHINGTON: I don't get too interested in the draft. I try to stay away from that. I'm just focusing on what I can bring to the table and take care of my end. I think the main thing is to get myself prepared to help the team out this season and not worry about other things.
Q: How are you getting acclimated to Nashville?
WASHINGTON: I've gotten lost like four times coming to the facility already. It's pretty nice here. I like the city and the country layout. I like the things that I've been seeing so far.
Q: How do you feel about playing your former team in the season opener at Pittsburgh?
WASHINGTON: I was with (former teammate) Santonio Holmes when I found out we would open at Pittsburgh. We both looked at each other and kind of smiled and started joking around with each other. It's going to be fun. That's like my first family up there and to play against those guys outside of practice is going to be a good opportunity for me. It's a great opportunity for our team and it's going to be exciting.
Q: How will it feel coming out of the visiting tunnel that night in Heinz Field?
WASHINGTON: I never thought it would happen, but I'll be excited about having the opportunity to play against those guys. It's not only my old team, but they're the Super Bowl champs. With the legacy they have behind them, it will be a good opportunity to go out and prove that last year the Tennessee Titans were not a fluke and we'll be right back at it this year.
Q: What would you think if the Titans added another receiver to the mix?
WASHINGTON: The more, the merrier. I don't think guys in this locker room are selfish. We all have something different to bring to the table and it's a great opportunity for all of us. If one more comes in, then we'll all get better together. As long as the person coming in realizes that there's not one ego on this team, not one person that thinks he's better than the other, then we'll all get along great. I have a great opportunity to play with the guys that are already in this locker room. I think all of us bring something different to the table and it's going to be great for us to gel together.
