Chris Johnson rushed for 151 yards in the Titans' 20-17 victory at Houston on Monday Night Football. |
Fans can vote until 11 a.m., CT on Friday to determine the winner, which will be announced Friday evening on NFL.com.
Johnson rushed 29 times for 151 yards in Tennessee's 20-17 victory over the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. Johnson went over 100 yards rushing for the fifth consecutive game and the 10th time in his career.
He became the first Titans player since Eddie George in 1998 to tally five consecutive 100-yard efforts. Earl Campbell (seven consecutive games in 1979 and six consecutive games in 1980) is the only other player to accomplish the feat.
Johnson's 36-yard run helped set up a LenDale White touchdown run in the second quarter. It was Johnson's 17th run of the season of 20-plus yards, already an NFL-high, and he added a 22-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Johnson currently leads the NFL in rushing with 1,242 yards, more than 200 yards ahead of Rams running back Steven Jackson (1,031 yards).
Other finalists include Packers running back Ryan Grant (21 carries, 129 yards, 1 TD) and Dolphins running back Ricky Williams (22 carries, 119 yards, 2 TDs).
