The Colts deactivated Bob Sanders, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, for a fifth straight game as he recovers from a knee injury. He was among four starters deactivated for the Colts' game with their AFC South rival with running back Joseph Addai missing a second consecutive game with an injured hamstring.
Cornerback Kelvin Hayden missed a third straight game coming off left knee surgery, and rookie Mike Pollak will start for Dan Federkeil for a fourth straight game.
Dominic Rhodes started for Addai with Melvin Bullitt filling in for Sanders again. Tim Jennings started for Hayden.
Vanden Bosch hurt his groin Oct. 5 in a win against Baltimore. He healed up during the Titans' bye and started last week in Tennessee's 34-10 win at Kansas City. But he lasted only a series before heading to the sideline. Vanden Bosch had practiced Saturday, but a game-time temperature around 44 degrees may have led to the decision to deactivate the two-time Pro Bowler.
